Official Apple lightning EarPods allegedly caught on video

I literally only ever use a href="https://www.digitalsave.co.uk/earpods.html">Earpods for everything these days, even with none Apple devices (minus the controls obviously) but I hate these Lightning versions. I'm going to be said when they finally stop cranking out the 3.5mm jack versions.

APPLE's marketing strategy is ALWAYS using this pattern. In Mac, because they want to make their MacBook slimmer, they choose to ditch the video-out port, and addtheir propriatery adapter that makes connecting ur MacBook to a projector is a pain in the ass. Now, Apple is doing the same with their IPhone. Since 3.5 mm jack takes a 'space' in terms of devices's slimness, they choose to ditch it, and going for 'all-in-one' solution using Lightning port. Next, for Iphone 8, what feature will be sacrificed by Apple in order to get the premium vibe? I hope they will also ditch the Lightning port, so there will be NO PORT in Iphone, making the phone going ALL WIRELESS, which consume MORE POWER, MORE EFFORT, for customer whereas MORE MONEY for crAPPLE.
(U see, while having a wired earphone does consume ur battery, having a WIRELESS ones consumes MORE, moreover if u use a 3W headphone with additional power needed. When u want to listen to music, u have to make some effort just to pair ur earphone, the same can be said when u need to charge ur phone. And all this 'premium' features does need additional money to get it, therefore making APPLE 'richer' than when they still 'sell' obsolete iphone which still included 3.5mm jack wired earpods & wired ports

Apple got away with it by bundling a Micro USB to proprietary adapter on the markets that required it by law. Sadly I see them doing this kind of cheap trick yet again.

People cared, people complained, people vented nonstop with some occasional trained sheeps trying to convince others that "no what you like is bad, just accept you should look for alternatives, that you pay for, for a problem we made, and you paid for".
Moto Z's lack of the connector was highly criticized, so was Oppo R5's lack of it, and LeEco's thingy as well.
Don't talk about bias and fanboysm while doing it yourself please

They make shiny beautiful products to lure customers into buying but very few know or care that any phone nowadays screams of programed obsolessence , like the non removable batteries which turn expensive phones into disposable junk , degrading amoled displays or lack of software support eventough the hardware is still capable. Consumer's fault too . Everybody's on a rush of gettin a new phone which does nothing new comparing to the old one.

It's nice to see that crapple still want to rip money off their users for nothing new ....no innovation no new design but never mind we will just force the sucker to outlay loads of cash for something they already have.....that fact was my biggest laugh in the whole story until I saw year instead of ear.....love a good spell check not.....the writer must have been using ios for such a basic error

THIS IS AWESOME!! THANK YOU APPLE for making that chunky lighting port plug. This will never be awkward or uncomfortable to use. After that beautiful power bank cover, this is the best design.

Wouldn't make much sense for Apple to implement a lightning headset considering there's going to be a finalization of the standard I/O used in smartphones (at least in the EU) in 2017. And by the looks of it, it's going to be USB C.
