I checked out the android store hoping to find applications like Lexi-complete, Oxford dictionary, Oxford medical dictionary and other medical related applications but sadly very dissapointing... I need these things at work and its a necessity for me so my iphone helps me a lot. when i need to search on sumthing, there it is, instant info... no need to find book references... if only android phone manufacturers can only focus on developing apps like apple does there will be a very good competition. But sadly they only focus on which android phone brand is the best when it comes to specs and the saddest part is that android manufacturers compete with themselves not with apple. Anyways as ive said we are entitled to our own opinion...

I got it after using Evo 4G, Droids , Nexus 1 and every other Android available but loved the form factor of Samsung Galaxy S ( Captivate Version is I think the most sexy ). All they need are Apps and build quality of iPhone 4.otter day I was readingnthat they sold some 5 millions of them which is a Huge achievement.
Apps are needed on android front.

Doc Shahkar, 18 Oct 2010Lets be honest here and respect every 1 positive points ( M... moreyes brother this is only the reason that i'm going to love apple.. but after buying s60 5th device, 3 months ago, as Samsung i8910 omnia hd i started viewing apple application store even i don't have and apple device as iphone or ipod, i downloaded itunes to view these applications and they shock me!! there are thousand of applications for ipod and iphone but for my i8910 there are a very very very very very very very few applicatios available therefore now i'm going to sell my omnia HD and buy ipod... i've not so money to buy iphone but apple's applicatios works also with ipod touch.. i shall buy a normal phone between €30 or €50 and buy ipod touch 4g 32g which is now available in italy.. i love applications and i'm sure non othere can fulfill my desire but APPLE..

However, apple doesn't sell all apps for the asian market. The appstore and itune stores does not sell movies,music,books & many apps by popping a message on screen stating that my app store doesnt allow such downloads. only the old & way off ones can be bought. Isnt this discrimination? We are not asking it for free, we are buying them. shouldnt there be like one appstore for the world not by country? Well these are some thoughts to ponder.....

As of now if only other phone brands can give same services as apple can give maybe I might change from iphone to nokia, SE, Samsung or BB. Iphone is still the best phone when it comes to UI and fluidity and that attracts me the most. I admire android os, I wanted to buy that Samsung SGS but even the Phoneshop owner discouraged me to buy it when he saw my iphone 4, but anyways we are entitled to our own opinion... Until then I will still be a loyal iphone owner...

Lets be honest here and respect every 1 positive points ( Minus the stupid people with no logic ) .
We all want beautiful and elegant Apps and Top notch Fluid OS .Sort of OS with Fast response , utmost Glitchless scrolling and beautiful API Which Operating System is Closest to That among All ( iPhone 4 , Android , Nokia , Blackberry ?
Be logical and Answer this every 1 , irrespective of If u think there are abundant useless apps or whatever .I will give my logical opinion and you guys give yours .
When i had iPhone 3GS , i used every sort of amazing games and App themes and lockscreens and clocks that i could but when Android 2.1 came along with Android 2.2 . I Always Envy the Android Top notch Nexus 1 at that time . I wanted to change my handset but i used my friend nexus 1 . the user experience was very very Good and CUSTOMIZATION is what i like the most about ANDROID . but the battery Drain , Bugs , lack of Apps and games and most importantly " SCROLLING " was so Laggy . Then came Samsung Galaxy S . I removed its Touch Wiz and made it Stock google then tried Different launchers For it and its just a Joy " BUT " scrolling is still laggy compared to iPhone 3GS even . All the while i kept my 3GS cuz of Apps and Books and the user experience but I liked SGS much more and used it more . then Came iPhone 4 and its Highest resolution retina Display . I Got it . the Form Factor alone is Aesthetically Pleasing and when i held it in hand , its a piece of Art . Retina Display is Amazing . Reading Books on it is much much Fun than on SGS and Scrolling, Flicking , Flipping is the best that i ever experienced .Camera is better than SGS as well as the style statement so iPhone 4 got ma favourite .
All the Apps got updated for iPhone4 Display on App Store and trust me on this when i Say , GT Racing Motor Academy looks Insane along with thousands of other Apps .
I have installed like 200 something Apps currently on it and I need every 1 for 1 thing or the other . I dont care for 300,000 Apps but for me even those 200 plus are more that i need .
Can i have that on Android ? NO . can I have that on Nokia ? No . Do i want them on Nokia or Android ? Ofcourse Yes . Do i Plan to change my Mobile Loyalty if Nokia or Android's Hardware and software gets equal or better than iPhone and they improve there Ovi store and market Place ? Yes I Would Love To ...
But , the Problem is that i dont see that happening in the next year for Android ( Which I Believe will Over take iOS , But dont know when ) or for Nokia ( I Have left hoping for it , but would be Pleasantly be surprised to see that happen ).
I used Nokia N97 but boy o boy , HATED IT LIKE ANYTHING . I thought they would figure it out by then , but did't .
Now look at other aspect that rarely any 1 see . If u buy a NOKIA , next NOKIA comes in 3 or 4 months , and when u try to sell ur NOKIA back to get new Nokia , U dont get even half the price of it. Same goes with Android sets . the thing with iPhone is that they r released on Yearly basis . U buy unlocked iPhone 4 at 700$ (plus/minus 50$ ) and month before the releas of iPhone 5 you can sell it at 600$ ( Provided u have kept it in Mint Condition ) . U still get to keep all ur apps and all u lost were like 100 $ -- 200 $ in value during whole year . thats the brand value itself .
If I wanna Play Multiplayer games online , which platform i go ? Symbian ? No . Android ? May be . iOS ? Ofcourse yes cuz of huge number of Titles available with very high quality that u can play online with 20 Million Plus iphone users and 9 Million plus iPad users . can u do that on Nokia or Android or BB ? No .
Over all currently , I feel and many of U might agree , that iOS 4 provides the best Value and over All package compared to Nokia , Android , BB , Palm etc . I hope that change and to be honest , am most optimistic about Windows Phone 7 cuz microsoft is Very Big and the Services they have are Huge along with XBOX Live , Zune , Microsoft Office . As well as i Believe there OS is the Most Fluid and fast with very Elegant API .
So Let the best OS win , and in any case , it will benefit the end Consumer . Please Post what u think without fighting and being reason able with examples and logic . cheerz

i still support nokia all the way cause they actually give back to the world
like Nokia money
i wonder who is helping the 3rd world countries with financial problems
no one else except nokia
and that's the main reason they sit on top of the world
cause of there care for the little guys
cause even those guys count as someone as well and can make a huge diff in the future

Apple's attention to detail is not questioned, even by it's rivals, who acknowledge their design. Nothing wrong with mutual respect.
Antennagate came and went, never really affected anything. Apple App Store is definitely a game changer, which rivals are trying hard to emulate.
There are pros and cons with every platform, only the insecure can't acknowledge this.

Nokia phones best for features and OS look not important! I not a child that i need more colour, more brightness in a phone. I like phone with who you can do everything, play a lott files and blablabla.
I will be more serious about iPhone and other brands if they in one handset integrate all features Nokia had.
