Thats a BIG difference you probably wont feel any lag in real world but when compared to 6s its a huge difference. Waiting for the time when android overtakes iphone

Hardware Specification Nope, iPhone is faster because of storage that is 2 times faster and it has better RAM management (ok, you can count this to Software optimization, but other Phones like OP3, HTC 10... Have also good RAM management) and it's Chipsets are on par. More RAM and more Cores do nothing to Performance, only if you are cutting videos and editing Photos, but these things are rare in normal use.

Just accept the the truth that Samsung still not good enough with optimization.
Even according to this report Samsung smartphones is not as stable as other smartphones from Sony, Motorola and HTC (Sony Xperia are the most stable).

Many will cry foul because the iPhone has less pixels to push and that that kind of test is not used in real life. Well, the Note has double the RAM too even though it doesn't seem to do much good. The Note just came out so it's supposed to be the latest beast but from this video, it is just pathetic. Having super specs without optimisation is a big waste of time as proved by every android phone compared with an iOS equivalent. Those who never owned an Apple product can moan and bash all they want....they cannot understand what true smoothness, fluidity, quality, and the joy to use is. I'd rather use a 4 years old 5s than this note.

Evilmaddoc, 23 Aug 2016With test like these you mus take account, that iOS and And... moreits true that ios and android are completely different but one of the things this test does prove is that if you want the fastest and smoothest performance then buy the latest iphone. many people wud be using same apps on both devices so if affordability isn't an issue then the latest iphone is the phone to get if looking for smoothest and fastest performance with no lag issues as proven in this test.
hopefully this test will keep the haters quiet, the type of haters who laugh at iphones specs calling them dated :D

This is one of the main reasons I just can't stand Android. You get amazing hardware, but when it comes to software you're years behind iOS.

Oh, man, I was just about to buy a Note 7. But after seeing that iPhone is a few millisecond faster than this, I'll be sure to switch to ios.
Who needs a good camera, a highly functioning software, great battery life and top-of-line display, when you can launch facebook a few millisecond faster? I'll surely put all these seconds I save each day in good use and get myself a nobel prize. /s

Looks like Samsung didn't bother optimising the snapdragon version again. Its probably difficult to when the chipsets are so different in core count and stuff.

Bottom line is - an year old product beats the most current member ( made with costly raw materials).
inspite of all criticism for iPhone, Samsung still cannot beat in performance.

Even if the iPhone is faster, I still love my Note 7. For people worrying about getting the Note 7, don't. It's a magnificent device!

Samsung knows that the average joe doesn't know about the speed test at xda-developers and therefore need not do anything. Make the issue front page news in US Today and Samsung will get off the couch. I'm still waiting to hear more about the upcoming phone by Google and the HTC Nexus Marlin. Only to avoid Touchwiz/Grace.

Iphone does few things a bit faster
Note 7 does a lot of things ( I mean a lot of functions, useful functions) with better image quality and resolution a bit slower
choose wisely!
