Sony is so stupid why the z3, z3 compact, z3 compact tablet is not getting 7.0 Nougat? My Lumia 1520 is 3 years old now and it still has the latest update. SO STUPID SONY

I have a Z2 that I bought used recently, much better than I expected, and very fast, so I would have thought Sony would have give it Nougat too.

Sony promised C4, C5, M4 and M5 Marshmallow.
And they never deliver.
Worse, Sony doesn't even push any security updates since the last time they updated the phones.

guys and gulls that have xperia x install 34.0.a.2.92 update there is ota and ftf or pc companion method . all things is great. and touchscreen problems and something solved.

I don't think the person writing this article works for Sony, so I wouldn't take this statement too seriously. They may very well release news about other handsets in the future. When Marshmallow came out they didn't announce the phones getting the upgrades all at once, so I'm not sure why the author of the article assumes that they are this time.

I really want that USB Type-C, Quick Charge 3.0, laser autofocus, and a larger battery with the SD820. 2 years is a great update cycle for me.

Shame. I know that my Xperia M4 Aqua will fall off the list because it's just a mid range phone. But I thought the newer M5 would get it. As well as C5 Ultra. And what about Z3? It was the one where Nougat has been tested. And of course their new entry E5 won't get any update, as always with Sony entry level phones. Hoping for these to get Nougat over XDA, I will go back to Apple and be happy to get at least a full 5 years of updates with iPhone 7.

Note that Z3(/XP) owners can opt in to the beta program, so they can still get the N (Beta) update. Or just head on to XDA.
