They didn't list Mi3 to receive MIUI 8 update, but there is MIUI 8 developer ROM for Mi3.
The Android 6.0.1 can be installed in Mi3 since MIUI 7.

Redmi 1S has been mentioned twice in the list of phones scheduled to get updates. It has been mentioned in both: the first wave and the second wave.

No Mi3 India version listed here. That's not cool :(
And when is the date for second phase release? I got info from my friend who is using RedmiNote 3 Snapdragon itself did not get update to MIUI8 till now.
MIUI8 is still based on lollypop, OMG still no Marshamallow. :(

As of now only few devices like note3g,4g,redmi1s are getting update, note3 redmi 3 etc will have to wait for few more days
