Huawei on the other hand give actual Android updates, although slow. And they are improving. I personally prefer get and actual Android update, though getting the skin updated would be awesome.

My Mi4i got updated yesterday! Battery life seems good, though I reset my phone to factory settings just to make sure.

One thing I notice about the chinese smartphone was that due to they had modified their UI so deep compare to the mainstream Android phone, which is why even thou some of it device still running on Android Kitkat or Lollipop, they doesn't really care much about it as long as their latest "OS/UI" was updated for all their devices.
