I personally prefer the other curve - LG G Flex and Flex 2 (hopefully 3rd one soon). To me this is the only bent screen tech that makes sense. Curves on the edges are just an annoyance, that makes you grip the phone uncomfortably. Sure, you can get used to it, but what's the point? Edge notifications? Please!

people complaining because it similar to s6 edge. . & I wonder is there any other way to design a dual edge screen without referring to s6 edge? let them be, beside it xiaomi, anything look good to them, they will used it no matter what from design, software and even the name of the product.

xiaomi is defenitely not the game changer anymore when it comea to pricing.....
le max2 with much better spec sheet and camera and display quality is available cheaper than the lowest version of mi5.
in india mi5 should be priced 20k and mi note 2 should be for 25k

And you can't compare it to the note since it doesn't have a stylus. If you compare it to the galaxy s7 edge I wouldn't think the price would even be that far behind looking at the price of other s7 edge clones, and the overall package would be worse with a worse camera, ui, display, and features. Samsung also provides monthly security updates, and they're generally pretty good with that for android.

Good specs but real life performance matters and support for updates. The reason why apple, sony, samsung, lg, moto and htc should be the primary choices for flaship devices. Not to mention after sales service. Ever since the smartphone business begun, a lot of these Chinese Brand came from every where but hey it's always good to have a competition.
