Samsung is withdrawing the Galaxy Note7 from some markets due to faulty batteries

01 September 2016
A recall still has not been officially announced - meaning that for now you won't have to return your purchased Note 7, but the unsold units are being withdrawn.

AnonD-442781, 02 Sep 2016The iPhone has issues every year.If iPhone has issue then it has with software not with serious issue. See why people take personally if they are using particular brand n that brand have some issue . Accept what reality is . Samsung start making own os name tizen which is flop iOS is far better .20 mobile Samsung launch per year it dispoint fr users who buy new phones n after few days new mobile of same series launch ie. J7 2016 launch couple month now j7 prime . iPhone hardly launch 2 phones which made them popular n bter resale it's fact

The biggest difference btween iPhone n Samsung is iPhone don't compromise with quality and Samsung on paper put thousand of functions but not all work . If person buying note 7 worth 54k n his phone has default battery then I can know the situation people earn with hard work n invest . iPhone on other hand has less function but all works perfect n quality speaks in iPhone

Samsung, people don't pay $800 for a crappy smartphone experience. Never mind how overpriced is the Note7, and now it has so many issues that even the cheapest phones rarely have.

            Pathetic.

It wasn't just about the battery.
The phone has major firmware issue, rebooting and overheating as well.

Good job at copying gates from Apple.

It's time to go back to removable battery and faux leather. I like that combination.

It must be a company wide problem. Samsung washing machines have caused numerous house fires in Australia (approximately 50 in the last three years, just search on google). Their response has been deficient and not reassuring. The mobile phone division had avoided being linked to this but not for much longer. Time to get your act together Samsung.

I have pre order one from carphone warehouse uk and today they send me a text Hi Kamil, thank you for ordering your Samsung Galaxy Note7 from Carphone Warehouse. Unfortunately as Samsung are investigating a quality control issue, Samsung are currently unable to deliver any Note7 stock globally. This means you won't receive it as soon as expected, but we'll keep your Note7 order open until delivery and we're also going to add £50 to your Carphone Warehouse account as a 'thank you' for your patience. If you want to choose a different phone you can visit the Carphone Warehouse store you purchased from to discuss your options.
