Anonymous, 02 Sep 2016Not surprising. More poor quality products from Samesung. Not mentioned to Samsung smartphones, just the Note 7's battery problems only.

Its like how large quantities of meat is sometimes recalled because of fear of a small contaminated part has been mixed in. In the case of the battery no one has gotten hurt yet but the risk is there. If someone should get hurt then no one will dare buy the Note 7. I wouldn't. Samsung has to come out telling the public that the bad batteries are in such and such serial no ranges of phone and then recall those serial no ranges. Without cheating and taking chances. Because if a battery from a unlisted range then explodes then no one will trust Samsung any longer.

Unacceptable for a 800 US dollar device to come with so many problems. Has Samsung fallen asleep on the wheel? I hope nobody is going to suffer any burns or die.

I respect Samsung for issuing an official statement even before the phones have officially been delivered to customers in most of the world. Unlike other manufacturers like LG, Samsung showed courage and I will buy a Samsung again.
