AnonD-1825, 04 Sep 2016Samsung isn't getting any extra point for this, they do wha... moreThis is nothing. There were news Apple is investigating the death of a 23-year-old woman whose family claims she was electrocuted while talking on a charging iPhone is ine of the story about smartphones putting people in grave danger. There was the woman who suffered third-degree burns from her Galaxy S3, a Redditor claimed his phone exploded while charging. Concerns about phone-produced microwave radiation or having a fragile sheet of glass inches from your face have circulated since mobile phones were in their infancy, but in the past few years these devices have grown into full-fledged computers.

Scary stories pop up every few months, but we never learn anything from them. We hear that a Droid exploded in a man’s face and we get frightened. But before you start wrapping your iPhone in bubble wrap, think about how many smartphones there are out there, and how many times you’ve heard of someone getting hurt or killed by their gadgets. Of the 1+ billion smartphones in use, there have been very few (in the hundreds) of them going haywire – let alone injuring or killing anyone. You’re far more likely to be struck by lightning, give birth to quadruplets, or be an Olympic medal winner than get hurt from your phone. But there’s a real reason why your smartphone is one of the safest devices you’ll ever use: it’s tested like crazy. Also, I'm not saying exploding phone never happened. It just simply very rare.

Majority voted to wait for it to come back.

We are now talking about thing which could kill people in worst scenario. Do you think Samsung really had any other option?

If this flaw would have killed someone you know that Samsung would have been dead company after that.

Tyler gee, 04 Sep 2016everyone talking trash about Samsung cause of the defective... morePlease stop sharing propaganda. Apple did exchange any bent iphone 6 and iphone 6 plus, though they did initially refuse it but that's because a bent iphone 6 plus was still mainly user's fault despite the phone being less durable than other smartphones.

Do not forget that apple had replacing programs too.
There were replacing program for the slep/wake button on the iphone 5. There was a program for the iphone 5 battery too. There is still a program for the iphone 6 plus camera focusing incorrectly. To not mention the replacing programs for various macs. Do not point the finger at Samsung. Apple does this sort of things from years.

Good. Hope it's not re-released it's a reheated phone from early 2016 sold in flagship prices. If anything it should be less expensive now that the hardware is getting old...

                  One less money grab.

They could just check if his phone is with battery coming from the wrong maker.
If it's so , better take the replacement.
BTW in US Note 7 is OK if it's not imported .

AnonD-1825, 04 Sep 2016This site is full of Samsung users and usually Samsung wins... moreI don't understand your point?!
So you claim that here are mostly Samsung users. Right?
But isn't it this poll meant for them....to measure the Samsung users' disappointment from Samsung ? Even as you say other android-brands fans stay behind Samsung on this vote
If there are ifan voters too, they vote against Samsung for sure. Take them out and see the %! LOL
So the real truth is that even more ppl stay behind Samsung in this case.
As I've told you, Samsung will get out even stronger and bigger after this case. Ppl can feel who cares for them and who cares only for the profit.
The tech media helps much too. Their organised pathetic basing will have strong opposite effect.

Waiting for V20 then ill decide LG or Samsung

everyone talking trash about Samsung cause of the defective battery, atleast they are replacing your phone for free. remember Apple when the iphone 6 and iphone 6 plus bent on the customers pockets? what did they do about it? nothing, just tell them that they had to buy a case for their phones. no money back, no replacement. you even had to buy a new iphone if you really wanted one. yeah keep talking trash about Samsung and forget about the real trashy company Apple is.

If you actually get a decent update for one year from Samsung then consider yourself a lucky one.
S7 series and Note 7 series will get their nougat update but thats about it since they will be too busy working on S8 series and Note 8
Have you ever owned any samsung phones? Thats how its been always lol
