Sorry Sammy had to get a refund, over heat, phone freezes were already bad and this gave me a chance to jump ship with 0 financial loss.

I will not get a phone with a sealed battery, so far LG is the only top notch phone that offers removable battery

Simple! r u stupid... that why you all ways question or judge... boss this is samsung they know there consumer very well... you guys are all ways compare with chines brand they does gave you a good quality product. if you compare with your apple device i asked you what should you do with your apple device just call, social app, or whatsapp,...etc... if you want do more they you should buy note7.

Samsung should stay away from GG5.
Otherwise, this will potentially another major issue.
I guess majority of users prefer GG4.

Samsung should extend the OS upgrade in Note 7 for at least 3 years like Google did for Nexus.
Apple support its iPhone iOS update for at least 4 years.

EU person: I may as well wait till note8 :( ,but it will be still worth it - it got all you can think of: Spay, edge,pen, ipxx, X sensors, exynos, big&bright camera, hires screen/hd setting, big memory,battery. What it doesn't is rival, and that makes it impossible to think of other device, don't you think?

Going through the comments, really there are objective people who explains things nicely and fairly (regarding iOS and Android or Sam and Apple). For sure there are too many biased fans who are much biased.
My point is, there is no final judgement which of the pairs I mentioned above is superior to the other, it is an ongoing process/battle of evolution, both of the companies are working hard to keep it up. So, where is the problem??
you know?? the problem is in the fans who try to prove that their beloved firm is the best without objective rationale.
I can tell you that there is no absolute answer to this question, MAYbe galaxy is better, Maybe iphone is better. it all depends on what you need from your phone, the budget you have, how often you change your phone, how you use your phone....and so on.
Example: some one who is so busy (researcher, lawyer, scientist, running own business....you get my point, right? ), who has no time to play around with his mobile, needs fast responses to specific tasks like calling someone, scheduling, reminders, online banking, pay with his mobile, subscribe for online business solutions...etc and phone budget is not his concern, if you ask those punch of people: which phone they prefer, I am pretty sure that larger proportion of them will choose an iphone. (do not get me wrong, this is not meaning that there is no businessman with galaxy phone,, of course there are much).
AND if there is someone who like to tweak and play around with his phone, change the themes, take much photos, like to upload movies and videos from his computer, watch much of youtube, a gamer, a cruiser, have a limited access to internet or internet with lower speed of limited data plan, of course will opt to Galaxy (cause ios needs better internet to upload to cloud , which is pain for the majority of people in lower and middle income counties). THIS ALSO APPLIES FOR ANY ANDROID PHONE, not particularly galaxy.

Note 7 all the way winner... And note 7 is not faulty it's the battery that's at fault, note7 is a great device, note series rock , iPhone is a crap in front of note a Scooty in front of a bmw, iPhone is a scooty lol , stupid Scooty ha ha ha

Samsung is Samsung...no one will replace place of samsung ...even Apple ... high quality high performance high productivity without any limitations...I love samsung and everyone knows Samsung is better...this is why this result happened...waiting for Note 7 desperately....

There's merits to both options.
I don't doubt for a second Samsung will address the issue accordingly, but this fiasco is gonna leave them with a black eye that will linger for some time.
