A Note phone is so much different compared to other phones so I was really very surprised too seeing Samsung change(lose) track. You are right mate, it battery was not integrated users would simply replace it with another one, now it seems clear that Note7 is as good as the quality of the battery! In that case the phone must be just as cheap as the battery itself. Iam done.

I posted earlier on my comment regarding the Note7. I am a Samsung Note4 user but I can certainly tell you that Samsung has completely lost track of what defines a Note smart phone. Until Note4 Samsung was doing very great and had the largest market share in high end smartphone. But now with all great features removed from a real Note phone and replaced with cheap and inproper features including cheap integrated batteries, then all what I can say now is that what happened to Note7 serves them well! They just lost track and so I and think many potential buyers will switch to other brands who seem be doing better right now than Note7. So wake up Samsung or you might in the near future face same destiny as Nokia or Ericsson did!

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2016they were called out for it.
Unboxtherapy was able to be... moreNo news channels talked about it
Nobody really were like go to the s5 everyone kept their phone and apple didn't do anything about it
So calling out a company isn't what is most important
It's the company doing something about it

That's what happens when you rush your product from Mfg to Production to Cosumer in very little time, no time for qualification. That's why other Manufacturer's like Crapple and HTC have a better NPI cycle.

sanso, 06 Sep 2016Samsung to get help from Sony? Hahahaha best joke ever Sony... moreWhat? What kind of fanboy are you? Sony has some of the best smartphones in the world right now. I won't even dwell into this. PS4 rings a bell? z5 premium with 4k screen? z3 compact with everything a flagship has in a small package? walkman?
Seriously you people are so stupid I can't even..
I mean look around you Sony is quality. Samsung fked up this time, they should have waited before rushing note7. Sony has quovo batteries now, if someone can help samsung it's sony. Samsung gets camera sensors from Sony since long ago, but yeah Sony sucks. That's why almost everyone in smartphones get Sony camera sensors for their phones.

That's really a fked up situation for samsung, they shouldn't had rush note7, but no point crying over spilled milk. It might not harm their pockets, but it certainly will harm their image. For their best phone to have these issues? Unacceptable.

me, 06 Sep 2016how dare you saying that to my apple. my apple is hundred y... morereally? it's only a mobile phone get a life. There is no point arguing about which is the best mobile phone. Some want speed, some design, some durability, some ram, some music capabilities and so on. Android lags? Are you sure? I have an Xperia Z5, it never lagged on me, not even under strain.

Recalling would be cheaper and less inconvenient for both sellers and consumers if removable batteries were still a standard!

me, 06 Sep 2016how dare you saying that to my apple. my apple is hundred y... morePlease don't compare lag of Android with iOS. iOS is just a few sq feet of swimming pool while android is a massive ocean. As a result iOS doesn't lag even with inferior hardware less resources. Android is vast and requires a lot of resources and processing power, compare to its ecosystem android lags much less than iOS.
