HP team didn't heard the news that MS has left the WP for dead. MS killed the Lumia, didn't fix the small number of bugs in 8.1 and the WP10 is still a failure. MS has been sabotaging the WP platform for years and even the most hardcore fans have realised by now that WP is a dead phone. Its a petty, cause it was a promising platform, much more snappy and efficient than the Android, I would know cause I owned few windows phones. HP Elite X3 will be a great phone when it sales at $139 for Christmas. MS is a disaster and so is HP for being so blind.

AnonD-258858, 06 Sep 2016Windows mobile is dead long time back. Cons: No split scr... moreFunny how those are "essential features" for some, and they're useless features for the rest of the world.

This smartphone is actually a productivity companion that never lets you down. (unlike Android/iOS counterparts)

Flossy420, 06 Sep 2016Nah Microsoft Ain't gonna happen Who the bell would drop ... moreApps don't matter here. This phone is meant for business usage and it does its job damn well. This offer is for individuals who really, really want it. But its main market are still companies who buy them in batches as, paired with HP's cloud services, a device like this makes a lot of sense.

Windows mobile is dead long time back.
                      Cons:
                      No split screen options
No pop up (overlay) app like on Lg/sony phones (Qslide/small app)
                      No emoji keyboard
Till date essential apps are missing or heavily buggy (Wynk/NDTV/ etc)
No small pop up incoming call notification like on LG/SAMSUNG
                      rare smart band/smart watch compatibility

Microsoft should shut down entire windows mobile business.
Crappy loss making since day 1.

This is the most premium Windows smartphone package currently on offer, if I was a Windows fan this is the deal.

For that amount of dough it should be two units. I love my Lumia, but WP is in the fast acceleration phase of its death spiral. Impending sales disaster...
