Because there is no way the tricycle could handle all the tourque that a V8 engine puts out. The wheels are just gonna spin out all the time. But I get where you are trying to go. Saying that the iphone has very powerful hardware which is choked by the OS would've been much simpler and direct to the point.

Android users critisizing the Removal of 3.5mm h... morefirst impression is lasting with the bar set by apple in the beginning its only natural people would look for innovation from apple always but they have not delivered
true android does hang that is the pay off of a complex OS, if android wasnt so customizable and open to the world at large, pushing VR, 2k and 4k screens, true multitasking
but whats really sad is how IOS has such powerful cpu/gpu and is so basic its the equivalent of putting a v8 engine into a tricycle, its really weird ios is so optimized why does every year they have to increase performance? why add more ram and a fusion chip? isnt this evidence of apple robbery
android will stutter here and there so there is a reason to get better at least

They copied HTC with the stereo speaker, added a second camera and 1gb of ram plus removed the 3.5mm jack, and boom 900€ to 1200€, the only "innovation" apple makes is the dramatic increase in price.

If you like wires and want an audio jack get a phone with one. If you think LG or whoever was first with dual cameras stick with them forever or with the company who did stereo speakers first. If you are unable to or to stingy to support artists and the movie industry get a phone that makes it easy to load pirated content. When Apple copies they improve the technology. When Samsung copies and goes for non removable battery it cost them billions to recall. My point is you can bash both ways but competition is good for all of us. It's about the total user experience and each person has their preference. I have always used Samsung products and changed to Apple when the IPhone 6 was released and I prefer the total Apple user experience with all products working seamlessly from my laptop to my car to my television.

It has nothing to do with OS being light etc. Those apps and games run on their own sandbox, so it doesnt matter how light or heavy the OS is, the app open times are always same. Anything what you do with the device won't sacrifice performance. So thats just another android boy excuse.

I like Iphones, but lets be honest, they have performance phones because they software its restricted, you don't have to many features to give a big charge to processor or ram, they have a low screen resolution, the I phone is a basic smartphone the only thing you do on an Iphone is look videos and send text messages, Android have many good thins VR gaming 2k and 4k resolutions, split screen for proper multitasking amazing camaras and battery life for all what you can do with them, you can play with the software and customize it you have a really free software and you still can get an amazing performance, why do yo need a v12 engine if you are limit to 40 mph?

It's not just the 3.5mm jack, Samsung was bashed when they released a Note7 similar to the s7 edge, LG as bashed when the v20 was like an upgraded G5 and in both cases we are talking about 6 months difference. So it's expected that apple will be critctized for releasing an iphone 6s with updated soc an camera and without audio jack a whole year later.

1. I hoped they'll make the iphone 7 water resistance too.
2. Whats up with the airpod? Ditching the traditional headphone? That's a lame innovation
3. Remove all useless restrictions
4. This is 2016 and they're still using the likes of 326 ppi pixel density so they can keep their phone speed fast and possibly maintain the battery longevity.
5. Increase the RAM of their phones and battery too.
6. I'd hoped they'll include a wireless and fast charging features.
7. Virtual Headset too but I guess if they include that one must sacrifice an arm and leg to get that.
Now talking about the Innovation I hoped from them for selling their products ridiculously expensive....
1. Must have shock resistance.
2. Hologram is a must for such price from a single phone.
3. Eye ball scanner.
4. Alien invasion resistance.
5. Camera that can see the moon's surface on an HD level.
6. Teleportation is must have again for such a pricey phone.
7. Fire resistance you know 'battery explosion', no offense Samsung.
8. Lastly, fire extinguisher and lighter for smokers.

I think it's because they have taken the headphone jack away but haven't really given anything in return. The space saved could have been used for something useful but instead of a bigger battery or slimmer phone it's used for the haptic feedback. Yes you get a set of compatible earbuds and an adapter, but it smacks of change for changes sake. Shame the same can't be said for the appearance of the device really..

I'm not buying the iphone 7 because I'm really waiting for the 10th year anniv iphone 8. But WHY the so many complaints on the jack removal? Factually, how many of us & how often do we use the headphones and the charger at the same time? Not many times and not all the time...So why worry so much! Don't complicate things! If you don't want to buy the airpods, THEN DON'T. You can still live with the old earphones since Apple provided an adapter. I will still buy next year's iphone even if they still dont return the jack, because I can still use the adapter. And not worried by small things like that.
