In relation to my previous post... I feel that I did not answer the poll question. Is this the best iPhone ever? Looking at the processors of course it is. Water resistance... Great stuff. Lack of headphone Jack, not so great. Home button that doesn't click anymore? not great. In my opinion this iPhone has brought with it some big changes that will take getting used to. So to answer the question... yes the most powerful iPhone.. but the best? No way

Tim Cook talks about their long term "vision" as an excuse for removing 3.5 headphone jack. To me, it makes sense - they want to monetize their proprietary BT solution (read W1 chip based earphones) over standard 3.5mm.
Currently, they are bundling lightening-to-3.5mm adapter in the box - for backward compatibility. However, mark my words - they shall completely take away lightening headphones from their iPhone with the 8 or 9 iteration. Their "vision" is all about making it proprietary and wireless and they are simply aligning themselves to that "vision" with this particular "hybrid" implemtation.
This is both good and bad. Good for people who wish to remain only the Apple's closed ecosystem (walled garden). Bad for everyone else those who wish to use thier existing universal accessories they have highly invested in.
To me, going wireless is a good step forward and I confragualte to users loyal to Apple for the step that couldnt be taken any better!!

Even though the new glossy black finish is very nice, I just cannot bring myself to liking the Apple ecosystem. No headphone Jack is absurd. The lightning port ensures that no standard USB cables and chargers can be used. no Bluetooth file transfer(everything reliant on iTunes). iPhone is a beautiful deception.... Even the new home button has lost its click ability.. I mean really? The only thing I live on iPhone are the brilliant processors. The CPU and GPU are absolutely class leading. Screen quality is always crisp, clear and bright. ios is the main reason I stay away though.

I am a practical phone user. To have a phone with no headphone jack is out of my vocabulary especially when you need to buy their wireless headphone and add a hundred or more dollars when it could have been free in the package! Forget it from me apple! You are just trying to condition the minds of the consumers while the bottom line is additional profit and not service at all.

This is mainly Android users website, a lot of them being Apple haters... Im wondering what is the purpose then of doing such poll here? The outcome on GSMA is rather obvious when in comes to Apple polls......pointless really.....

Although I really am totally against Apple's decision to remove the 3.5mm jack, I have voted in their favour.
I mean they are offering proprietary implemtation of bluetooth & nfc from day 1, then why not for 3.5? I am sure such opposition would have never occurred had they launched their first iPhone without the 3.5 in the first place :P

They asked you if this was the best "iPhone" ever and majority of you lied on the poll mainly cause you hate apple for making their products too expensive for you to afford.
If they asked if it were the best "phone", then your response might be of some value. But your responses towards the current poll just make you look pathetic.

What did they accomplish by removing it? 0.1mm thinner phone? Wow, such innovation!
You also have to buy adaptors, you can't charge and use your heaphones at the same time. You need an adaptor for 1 to 2 lighting ports and then one for lightning to 3.5mm. That's simply stupid. Also, as easily as the high quality cables from applel break you have to buy a new one now and then, more money to the glorious innovators.
But hey, you can always buy the new Apple AirPods for only 160$, wow.. what a deal!
My brain can't comprehend why and how anyone could be dumb enough to fall for this, but then again, i'm not a blind fanboy.

it really is the best iphone ever because thats comparing to past iphones, make the stage international and you can see that the iphone 7 is playing catch up to every other flagship
a more powerful chipset you say? and what is it used for to push a 2k screen? nope apple users will just take pictures with it on instagram
now apple fans say dual cameras are cool but it was such a gimmick when they never had it

I am heavily considering buying the iPhone 6s to replace my iPhone 5. And no, I'm not going to upgrade to the iPhone 7 (non plus version) because of several reason.
1. Now that the iPhone7 is announce, the 128 GB iPhone 6s is the same price as the 32 iPhone7. ($649) So it brings more value for money
2. The design is basically the same.
3. The display is basically the same
4. Come to think of it, nearly everything about the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 7 is basically the same.
5. The camera is good enough for me. (although I think it can't compete with my S6 edge)
6. The A9 chip is already faster than the best Android device
7. Last but certainly not least, it had a headphone jack :)
Sure the iPhone7 is the first iPhone to feature water resistant, but I dont think it is worth it. Plus, i would get 96 GB more storage than if i buy the iPhone7 for exactly the same price for the iPhone 6s, and more storage is better for me.

I loved apple, beacuse it had steve jobs.. after the new ceo, everything is bland.. the new iphones, ipads that don't sell, and ipods are literally now a history.. macs are selling beacoz only the competition is bad, thats it.. loved the first gen ipod, loved every iphone until iphone 4s.. Its not like iphone 7 is bad, but it's not great, not kind of unique.. when i saw iphone 4 after iphone 3gs, it was like day and night, same with 4s and 5, but after that design is downhill.. literaaly if you own iphone, ipad will be like the same thing stretched out.. its not interesting.. thats all
