    iPhone 7 really does a good job selling other phones this time round, particularly LG V10, G5, V20. And even Apple is preparing that their 'innovation' to remove the 3.5mm to fail with the inclusion of the adapter - They are acknowledging 3.5mm not going away and the buyers will still need them. If they are so confident in their wireless attempt and sales of the AirPods they wouldn't have done so.

      Most rumors turned out to be true, so i'm not surprised... Hate the design, everything else that's inside of the phone is a welcome.

      Since Steve Jobs passed away, Apple simply can't innovate new things.
      All they do, (which by the way is a fact) is borrowing the technology from other companies like, Samsung, Htc, LG to mention a few, and then they improve it.

      Now, this is not bad, in fact...really good! We customers benefit from the big tech giant's fights as we simply get more and more! Everyone is copying, let them! Good for us!
      But please, do not say that Apple is innovative, because they're doing the same as everyone else.

                Im so sorry to see so many haters that are blinded.Apple already move away from the user experience with their ecosystem.With 3d touch, with wireless hardly interconnected between their devices like ipad mac and iphone...this year the first physical button is exchanged thanks to its 3d touch technology and I'm betting this is the start for a true no ports and no physical buttons

                  I really really wish some day they will make dual sim model. They have made a really compelling device with decent price. Audio Jack loss was inevitable otherwise how would they have sold their 160$ airpods.

                    Yes the innovations in apple is not catching the speed as it was at the time of steve jobs....but its still the best. Android is far away...windows can compete but lags app store and just a new born baby in Phone market. But Apple could have changed the design not just antenna lines and a new color option,dual cam that was an easy choice to impress !! Whatever but its still best. I've used the phones of all the three major platforms. Android is just a teenage love...it will never last forever. Seriously !...?

                      So take away my audio jack, then charge me another $160(!) to make up for it?? And it only lasts 5hrs?? Like WTF?? And those BS dongles and adapters, are they really more advanced than a direct cable? Sadly, stupid Android Smartphone Manufacturers would adopt it. The death of common sense

                        Best iPhone yet..on paper, now let's see if it bends, breaks when hit by a mosquitoe or explodes & whatever else these so-called flagships do when rushed to get first on a shop shelf.

                          Quite frankly, since I'm not buying an iPhone anyway, I would just laugh off that 3.5mm jack removal, but the problem is the stupid manufacturers that just have to copy whatever Apple does. There's always that "me too" that just can't think properly and starts releasing phones without the jack as well. The Moto Z was enough, the Play version has the jack, hopefully other manufacturers have just laugh off this instead of going with a ridiculous trend.

                            I sensed this would happen a long time ago. The iPhone 6S is barely different from the vanilla 6, the 7, rather worryingly, actually adopts Android phone tech from years back. Y did it take apple so long to do what Xperia did? And the HTC One M8?? And why go through the whole trouble to make metal look like glass or hyperglaze plastic? The death of Apple is looming

                              Why do people like to complain? Strategically, iPhone 7 & 7 plus still have head jack, it is technological advances.

                                AnonD-425491, 11 Sep 2016I don't see why people are so furious about the headphone j... morePeople get furious because any el cheapo droid has this connector, the previous gen. had it, so no need to carry another adapter. It's enough already that you need an USB cable specially for the iPhone as it won't take Micro USB;
                                You can't connect headphones and charge at the same time;
                                there's absolutely no advantage to remove it, they could just place it on top if they wanted 2 speakers at bottom, or place the 2nd speaker at top cause stereo speakers side by side vertically are really stupid;
                                An adapter is yet another breaking point, now you'll not just easily change the connector on the headphones like you can with 3.5mm jacks, you'll have to worry about keeping an expensive active adapter safe, and cables break easily, yet another cable to take care of.

                                It's pretty dumb to try to convince people that they did something good by going back 10 years in time. I remember when I needed adapters on my Z530i and 5610 and it was annoying, the presence of a 3.5mm jack on my 1st droid (Xperia X8) was a great addition.

                                      I don't see why people are so furious about the headphone jack been gone. You buy an iPhone 7 and you get a lightning earphone with it. Also an adapter. You can use your existing headphones/earphones with the same adapter they are supplying you. Jeez get over it

                                        IPhone 7 can easily accommodate a 5 inch display and iPhone 7 plus can easily accommodate a 6 inch display
