Samsung wants to use AMD or Nvidia GPUs in its Exynos chipsets, plans to ditch Qualcomm for good in 2018

A new rumor claims the Korean company is in talks with both Nvidia and AMD in order to replace the Mali GPUs in its SoCs.

really interesting news, even when it's not confirmed (i do hate rumours) but i can't help to imagine how Nvidia GPU could be like, i'll take it with a pinch of salt but i'll keep a bit of track in the news :D

    I think phones should stay phones and not become something else beyond that this is why now i choose to stay away from companies like samsung and apple cause they take out the functionality of a multimedia pocket device and attempt to turn it into something way more complex than it already is.

      that's nice to hear , samsung is waking up finally ..if they ditch that mali trash of gpu then they will be be able to compete with Qualcomm until then Snapdragon rules !!

        What does any of that have to do with Soc gpu?

        Besides ati gpus are already in adreno.

                Don't know what to think about it. I mean Intel is also bad at mobile SoCs.
