Apparently not all retailers even honors the loaner part. I went to Best buy to return my Note 7 and get a loaner but they don't offer this option. So I was either to return the phone and get a full refund or exchange it with another phone but I will not be able to get the note 7 once it is released again. Unfortunately I don't have another phone laying around that I can use. I even called Samsung and they confirmed this, when I asked them if i should keep using the phone then; they said yes! but watch for heating issues! which is completely contrary to their recall warning. This is just ridiculous and annoying .

If you can even get a loaner. I have been given the run around. T-mobile say that they give no loaner, I can return the Note 7 for a J7 if I want but no loaner. Samsung says : deal with the provider.

Wow, you pay top of the line flagship, and receive a budget phone for loaner. The least Samsung could've done is give Note 7 owners the S7, or at the least an A7 as loaners, not a J7. Cheapskates.

Most of them probably either cancelled their reservation or got a full refund to buy another flagship device or reserved for iPhone 7.

This is only just to replace the units of those who already bought the phone. If they have to wait a bit longer, then the general consumer base will even have a much longer wait. I'm pretty sure some of them will have bought some other flagship device by then. Especially the impatient ones. But let's face it. Most people hooked on tech are usually impatient. Tough luck for Samsung.
