16 September 2016
By that time, hopefully every person who had a unit prone to catching fire will have replaced it with a safe one.

You don't see them exploding too now do you? And like I already told you, it's all in the quality control at samdungs end. I will say it again, it's crap.

So what happened to all those iphone 6 and 6 plus users who had their phone screens become unresponsive due to the same reasons as bend gate ?????? .... as per iFixit there were many users reported the issue and many of them complained that apple will never replace or fix those iphones for free. They were asking if customers had apple care + and since its no more under warranty people paid to get their phones fixed for design flaws by apple. Shame on APPLE !!
At least samsung openly admitted and took a hit ... that was a brave move !!

AnonD-576629, 16 Sep 2016iPhone has had 0 recalls. Now that's the fact and that is m... moreThats the stupidest statement ive read. Iphone has had its fair share of problems. i was one of the first buyers of iphone 4. Dyu remember the antenna gate problem. How did apple respond? they said we were holding the phone wrong. Stupid arrogant apple was blaming the consumer rather then admitting its mistake and fixing the problem. Samsung on the other hand acknowledged the problem. recalled their phones and even apologised. If anything they have earned my respect and trust. Most companies dont accept they are wrong cuz it puts a big dent on their image. Samsung had the decency to put their consumers firsst and egos second. before u start with the fanboy comments lemme tell u that ive owned more ios devices then android. I dont care about taking sides cuz im not petty like the rest of you. I dont care if my phone runs ios or android or wp as long as it meets my requirements. But in this case i think you people are really blowing this out of proportion. Ive not seen any company in the past which has goofed up and admitted its mistake and tried to make things right. And yes if by dec i need to change my phone and the battery problem is solved then i will be putting my money on the note 7. The sPen is a great productivity tool and something which i miss the most since my last note series phone which was the note 3 in 2013-2014

I have an ipad air 2 and i like ios couldn't find any flaws but it's nowhere near on Android level when it comes to customization and restrictions. You have to jailbreak ios in order to be fun otherwise it's bored and dull

Only fanboy gonna buy it because general buyer have now realize that samsung is just a cheap company which sells their half baked product at very higer cost .

The "rectified" Note7 will probably be the safest phone out there. One would be a fool to assume that no other phones with Li-Ion battery will ever explode. For a fact, more iphones have exploded in the than a Samsung, if that's comforting for you.
