I see an insider spilling news to their controler, suppose if its espionage then, its as easy to believe someone handsomely paid, a recruit to take a job in a Samsung factory, and sabotage stealthily, every 1000th battery they handled. Who knows ? Can't say, no one can, but apple would be the ones to gain as this story makes it clear, and with apples dishonesty knowing wide boundaries, like the 500m Italian tax fraud, and the 13billion Irish tax scandal, not to forget the, 100m ebook price rigging scandal, nothings impossible, but no one really knows the truth of what went on at that battery plant. Suppose apple have gotten away lightly tho, as gsma says..s7 ,edge 7
all selling massively, plus n7 25% up in sales, not much left for apple to crow about this year eh, guess its just LUCKY some one goofed up at that battery factory, it really has made billions of pounds less difference to apples only peer rival. Gosh some guys have all the luck..and their flagship coming out just days later, guess we could all do with some luck like that, right.

Reports of exploding Galaxy Note 7s surfaced just days after the release
Samsung executives say a manufacturing flaw damaged the batteries
However, sources say the firm rushed production in order to beat Apple

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 fiasco highlights the challenge of packing more power into much thinner phones, all while rushing for earlier release dates.

Shortly after its release, reports emerged that the Note 7 handsets were exploding and experts now believe the real culprit was Samsung's urgency to be beat Apple.

Once rumors surfaced that Apple's latest device wasn't set to be the year's biggest innovation, Samsung executives 'pushed suppliers to meet tighter deadlines, despite loads of new features'.

Shortly after Samsung released the Galaxy Note 7, incidents surfaced that handsets were exploding. Although explosions are due to overheating batteries, experts believe the real culprit was Samsung's urgency to be beat Apple
                        BEATING APPLE FOR A PRICE

Many believe that the root of the exploding batteries comes from Samsung's rush to beat Apple.

While employees scrambled to meet the early launch date, suppliers also stretched their work hours and were under more pressure than usual.

Samsung executives agreed to move production ahead of schedule in order 'launch a new phone they were confident would dazzle consumers' and take advantage of Apple's letdown, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.

Nougat for Galaxy note 4 910C ??any chances ?

This is good news. I'd rather have a nice and stable release then one full of bugs. 6.0.1 has the Bluetooth bug which is really annoying.

Other than that, I hope they bring the new notification system. I'm hyped up for it.

In fact I would hope they have been conducting such testing for quite some time now.

Samsung have a lot of good will to try to claw back, speedy delivery of OS updates will go some way towards that.
