Man, that light blue looks nice.
Unfortunately 2G support only makes it a bit difficult in my region. Looks like a nice phone though.

mir, 20 Sep 2016When Nokia comes back and decide to re-release the Nokia N8... moreI REALLY hope this happens! If such a phone gets released, it will sell A LOT! I would buy it right away too! A lot of people would buy strong spec phones with physical keyboard!

Also, a very fine idea would be to also release a long successor to the Nokia 6233, with specs the same and better than the Nokia N82, but with Series 40 OS.... ;) It will definately be a great seller! I really miss the golden days of the Series 40 phones... :(

However, if people would like these phones back, they could start up a forum with a mobile phone wishlist or a page in Facebook or something and let HMD Global know about it... Just saying an idea...

for people saying the Nokia failed to live up to their big promise after their announcements, you clowns really are casual users that has no idea what you are talking about, this basic phone is from Microsoft Nokia, Nokia Finland still has a contract with them until the end of this month and this year, Nokia Finland will be identified if you see a Nokia with an Android OS, research first before opening your lazy mouth keyboard warriors

Anonymous, 20 Sep 2016Creating a new basic phone is fine and all... but VGA? Cmon... moreYes, you are very right! They should have more phones with 5 megapixel cameras + good lens (such as Carl Zeis Optics Tessar)! Nowdays, these lens will be very cheap to produce without raising the price of the mobile phones too much...

AnonD-454835, 20 Sep 2016You dont need cameras on a feature phone as they are utterl... moreThat was indeed a dumb phone coz Nokia has no phone at 850 rupees. The only phones worth looking at are Nokia 230, 225, 220, 215 and now 216

Front cam with LED makes 216 very mouth watering indeed....

Well it so happens that I had bought Nokia 230 for my dad, but before giving it to him I'd used it as my back up phone for a week. Well turns out that I love it for music playing and radio listening and frequent calls from my mom. Will buy this though once it will be available in the shelves in the Philippines!
