Samsung Galaxy Note 2 catches fire on IndiGo flight

23 September 2016
Samsung is now investigating yet another fire caused by a Samsung phone, however, I wouldn’t put the blame on the phone just yet. We’ll get back to why in a moment.

first of all, yeah I'm using a Samsung j7 2015. to my observation every month SAMSUNG is releasing new brand of mobile or what EDITION is that. but Samsung you should be careful in releasing new mobile for your customers. make sure that it will not blow up or start a fire.

The solution to battery problems is to have sensor that recognize faulty batteries like flactuations in voltage, current etc. Even if it means that u buy original battery. Place dedicated batterychip for samsung batteries only. Not properly build well it wont start. Problem solved.

If a phone is 3 yrs old does that mean the ... morePretty narrow minded are we, there's no information yet on whether that was a Samsung battery or a third party battery, I mean it's a 3/4 year old phone so chances are the person will ave replaced the battery and it is most probably a 3rd party battery. And yes you guessed it that is the whole point of sealing off a phone's battery is to make it more disposable, it's how the industry works and many companies are starting to do this.

The recall gave more attention to these sorts of issues, and also led to fraudsters, otherwise you would've heard about this happening a couple years ago at the very least.

Plus Samsung makes much more phones than Sony or HTC, so in terms of absolute numbers they should have more issues.

                                  all lithium batteries can explode.
                                  because lithium is highly reactive.
