Afaik, my friend with his S7 Edge got no heat problem even when he play games for quite long. The only matter is the last time he went to the park on a bike he got mugged and sadly the phone not explode during mugged it would be awesome if the mugger got burned.

It is getting ridiculous, no one heard of a S7 or S7 edge catching fire before note 7 fiasco.

me, 26 Sep 2016I read both your comments. and Im sorry to say this but you... morePlease talk based on facts. On what basis you're saying the S7 and S7 Edge is the best..? I'm talking with the reference of DxOMark which is well known for testing not only mobile cameras but also professional cameras and lenses. I have mentioned the link below for you reference. Please visit the link and read. Get some idea about cameras. I'm trying to stop you from making a complete fool out of yourself in here.

AnonD-589815, 26 Sep 2016All of these rumours are because s7 edge is the first phone... moreI am embarrassed so much by a civil engineer who doesn't know how to sent a document that he receives via email, presumably using email. Come on that is the most basic thing and if you can't do such basic stuff, you got no place in iOS. Stay in Android 2.0 like you said.

S7 and s7 edge has the number one spot in the camera world. Though HTC shares the same spot, the speed and algorithm of Samsung is top notch,

                I find this suspect.
I have had the S7 Edge since release.
                SM-G935F Black Onyx (Factory Unlocked)
I have no recollection of the device becoming excessively hot let alone battery draining issues.
Granted the Note 7 has documented issues but lately there seems to be a samsung bashing going on.
Looks like a jumping on a bandwagon.
Please note however that I am basing my opinion on my experience with the same phone in question so I'm skeptical of the report.

I wish this is not true because I have my Galaxy S7 edge and I don't have any issue regarding the battery and functionality. I skipped buying Note 7 for battery issue and pls don't let it come to my S7 edge.

AnonD-589815, 26 Sep 2016All of these rumours are because s7 edge is the first phone... moreI feel so sorry for you. You got such a big mouth, but not the brain to match it. Your first point is about the S7 edge's f1.7 aperture. Do you have any idea how stupid you sound to the readers who really do know about cameras.? Dear friend, the aperture cannot alone define a camera. The low aperture may give you better shots in low light but there are lot of other facts. I hope you have heard the terms, resolution, shutter speed, white balance, color rendering, post processing algorithms etc. If you can't properly balance these things together it doesn't matter how low your aperture is. I admit the S7 edge has a good camera, but it's not the best out there. Currently HTC 10 and Xperia X sharing the top spot with S7 edge according to DxOMark rankings. But the recently released Xperia XZ easily outperforms the all three mentioned above.

And regarding the resolution of S7 edge and Iphone 6S. Apple doesn't have to say you that human eye can't identify that much of resolution because it's a biologically proven fact. You may spot the difference in resolution of Full HD and 2K in a 55 inch TV, but not in a 5 inch phone. The different you're seeing is in the screen tech and the colours. Samsung does use more vivid colours in their phones while Apple uses more natural colors. That's the difference you are noticing. I'm really sorry to disappoint you but you and your family does not have special eyes.
So I suggest you to do some reading before you post next time.

I actually find these new cases of S7 problems quite plausible. After recent firmware update S7 and S7 edge (I have S7 and 2 colleagues with S7 and S7 edge) have very bad 'bug'. Phone regularly gets hot, battery draining fast and become unusable slow.

Have found it happens when using Wi-Fi at work (lots of access points?), but not while using Wi-Fi at home. Samsung has been quite useless in responding to the issue. Really hope next update will address the issue.

I think these people are taking advantage of the note 7 recall. I have 2 and returned them for same phone. There was no reports of s7 or edge till the recall was announced. I think they just want new phones like I phone 7 or note 7 if they have s7. Samsung should investigate and only offer same phone unless it was a note 7. I know that Samsung wants to keep people happy and safe but this is crazy. Like I said I bought 2 s7 edges on march 11th paid them off and got 2 note 7 on the 19th. And there was not one report of s7 till recall. So I hope Samsung will stop being taking advantage of because if u don't think they are your wrong.

My Note 3 has always heated up.
But heat doesn't mean its caused by faulty battery. The new processors can also heat up especially if they are running resource hungry application.
Just download pc cooler from play store and run it.
Or just restart the phone. Some apps have running loop. which causes Processor to heat up.
Or should just ask for replacement of 3 Year old Samsung Galaxy Note 3?
