Akinaro, 26 Sep 2016Im not big fan of Samsung but that "catching fire" of Samsu... morehaha, another fanboy comment.
The reports on Samsung is not the hottest phone is because they have yet to update their reports.
You can do a Google search and you are amazed that Samsung uses cheap hardware specs and raw materials compare to HTC or LG or Sony.

Im not big fan of Samsung but that "catching fire" of Samsung phones is so shady that its just hilarious.
All media scream that samsung phones blowup... but almost none of those media update their news, that half of Note7 burns where scam and was not made by battery but stupld users that leave their phones on sun/humid environment or they use cheap/damaged chargers, like that owner of that Jeep. Not to metion that most users bought those big phones... but they put them in back pocket... and often seat on them. its not small phone, and just because its made of metal it doesnt mean you can treat it like damn brick that you can throw around.

But guess what? if you just spend 2min searching about phones catching fire, you find out that Samsung is not even in the middle of ranking of "hottest" phones.

So when I hear some kid that whine that "Im not gonna buy Samsung phones". I just want to cry from laughing. Samsung have about hundreds of devices available right now... but you read one news about one-two models... and you declare that ALL samsung product are bad...
    Damn nice reasoning.

Anonymous, 26 Sep 2016Sure. And after Samsung checks the phone and finds out that... moreActually any battery can be over charged and caused to seriously get hot if the right charger and high resistance dock was applied to the electric circuit as long as it's not a fail safe current

Well, fake news are everywhere, bigger names are easier to destroy, remember the bendgate fiasco, that was Apple's turmoil, but it seems Samsung is experiencing worse. I really wonder, does this exploding handsets only affects the newer divices, since my old S7 is extremely reliable. If its an older handsets like before s6, i dont buy them at all, fake news or user fault..

Jimson, 26 Sep 2016Well technically this is just to ruin Samsung's name, I hav... moreI have zero sympathy to Samsung.
All their devices heated just after 10 mins of gaming.
I think Samsung has very very bad hardware. Even their hardware specs losses to HTC.
I have HTC M9 and LG G5 and only after 40 mins of gaming, then only it heated up. HTC and LG has very good software optimization to control overheating compare to the crappy Touchwiz.
Samsung should just stop all flagships from selling or sell its production entirely to HTC or LG.

My Xperia Z3+ processor heats upto 80 Celcius but never caches fire (although I love to see fire to turn it back to Sony). So heating of phones is not a problem at all since processors are equipped with sensors to slow down to cool off........ Its the fault of Samsung batteries which are causing fire.

I'm not so convinced with this none sense! First off she said she bought her S7 since released it then suddenly its just burn for no reason then she make another statement from another press wtf! I'm a Filipino but I'm not buying with her lies! This may not happen in first place if the Note7 fiasco did not happen, something is fishy here, The only unit that has problem is Note7 and nothing more!

When heat reaches some threshold, phone should switch off automatically . Usually when playing heavy graphics games phones will heat more compared to normal usage.
