Samsung dissapointed me for Canada. Makes me want to cancel my order to get the note 7 and take another phone. I made and paid for my phone a month ago and still hasn't came in the mail.

mir, 27 Sep 2016$26 billion has already been wiped from their stock.Stocks are illusion. Samsung is a conglomerate they have got so many investors across wide variety of industries it's not like they depend solely on mobile business

Such news cannot be trusted. Not all countries will get the chance of refund. Of course the % will be high. In Singapore, only 1-1 exchange option is offered and most users of course will opt for the 1-1 exchange rather than throw the phone away. We have to see how the number resale Note7 to judge how many confident and faithful users will stick with exchanged Note7 in such countries.

AnonD-507785, 27 Sep 2016That may be okay, but considering that around 2 millions un... moreafaik 2 million you say were recalled, this figure would be shipped, the amount that actually made in into comsumer hands was a lot less

24 Note 7 per 1,000,000 caught fire and in total 35 as the time of recall

the boxed items therefore seals were UNBROKEN and all that was neccesary will be battery changed and repacked

Those opting for refunds need not have abandoned Samsung altogether and could have used the experiance as a try before buy so opting for the S7 edge no stylus saving a few $

If theyare worried by trolls who seem to think that this battery defect is indicative of Samsung could also say opted for the S7 Edge as the S7 Edge would be more easily sellable when they upgarde rather than the note 7 legacy

90% is still a high number and those 10% could just be waiting for there to be absolutely no doubt the problem is eradicated or benefit from a cheaper tariff say due to the "negative" press

But whatever the final figure is it will be a lot
