I think SE is telling lies just the way they did on release dates of X10 updates, now they will promise you guys a 2.3 update but they will say sorry no update later and dont even expect Multi-touch 16M color and flash support. I sold my X10 and switched to HTC but i will come back to SE when ever they repent.

Adam, 17 Nov 2010The Qualcomm MSM7230 features a similar Scorpion CPU as the... moreExactly.
Here's how the Desire z (htc g2) with the same 800mhz processor beats the Galaxy s:
        http://androidandme.com/2010/10/news/3dmarkmobile-gpu-showdown-adreno-205-vs-powervr-sgx540/
And i'm expecting that final version of the product will have an overclocked MSM7230.
Anyway, this preview guy is bashing SE so much that HE is shoothing him self in the mouth. "Galaxy S already offers much more"
WTF? It even doesn't offer flash for the camera! And even it's succesor can only dream of having a 12 Mpix! Galaxy S can only dream of being so classy, well build and good looking like Xperia!
And the successor look like the most plastiki and generic phone ever!

He goes on and bashes standard SE's LCD. Like wtf?
SE is known for making the best standard LCD's ever!
S-LCD offer's only slightly better (if even, compared to SE's standard LCD'S) picture BUT with more demand on the battery.

That article is scandalous and the guy is an obvious SE hater and samsung advertiser.

I have Vivaz and I was hoping that SE will come back....but sorry, this is really sad. Anzu will be average phone (in the early 2011). If you are looking for real super-charged phone, time to look elsewhere (samsung/lg/nokia/HTC).

800mhz? What a joke. And a 4.3 inch screen. Like anyone really needs a screen larger than 4inches. I doubt it will ever get that gingerbread update either. I think I'll switch to samsung next year. SE is a joke company.

Very good news for current x10 users, Se has finally listened
And are enabaling Multi touch! Yes you heard it right.

If you don't believe me just go and check it in the se product blog.

The processor and graphics are even better than the Desire Z's. Please don't be fooled by the '800mhz'. It's much better! If this thing really has 12.1MP and Exmor, then wow. Sony you are so on!

                      hey,guys

800MHz Qualcomm MSM 7230 processor is actually more powerful than 1GHz MSM8250 in X10!Google it!!!

The Qualcomm MSM7230 features a similar Scorpion CPU as the Snapdragon, but it contains the much faster Adreno 205 GPU. ( Which means the gaming will be much better on X12)

At the end of the day the newer 800 MHz MSM7230 will likely out-perform the older 1 GHz Snapdragon, still it would nice if s/e managed to give us a 1 Ghz MSM7230.

Isn't the requirement for Gingerbread a 1ghz processor? Guess that's a bust then.

Maybe it'll have multitouch at least.

If Google Nexus S by Samsung, that is still to come, is going to be Android 2.3 almost for sure, why the hell is Anzu going to be 2.2??? doesn't SE learnt with X10 failure????
I am so pi**** about my X10, i bought it 3 months or whatever and its already a brick from the Neanderthal Era!

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2010800MHz Qualcomm MSM 7230 processor...?!?! Another dissapoin... moreactually the 800mhz 7230 processor is nearly 20% more powerful than standard 1ghz processors. if you look at benchmarks of the desire Z compared to a 1ghz phone, the desire Z will beat it out. Its a second gen processor. But thats not what is going to hinder this phone, the construction and more importantly the late OS is the problem, you dont launch a android phone in 2011 with 2.1, 3.0 is going to be out in 2011....

So many people bashing this phone because this processor is an apparent downgrade from the x10s snapdragon. I'm a bit blown by mobile companies getting such intense processors in the first place, they shouldn't ever need to use 1Ghz but should be focusing on how to get their software to run fewer operations on the processor so the OS runs smoother with less lag for a greater user experience AND save battery life. A 1Ghz phone running at full capacity would be flat in half an hour and probably be hot to hold. If anything the switch to 800MHz Qualcomm MSM 7230 will save battery life and money but without sacrificing user experience if the software is carefully written.

I suppose my concern with this phone is if this is going to be SE's flagship phone for the new year and they're not going to come up with something wildly unique then they to keep up in the game, like 1080p recording, Bluetooth 3.0 for wireless HD viewing, DivX support?, Gingerbread would be nice, though its not as big a step up as Eclair to Froyo is, and definitely multi-touch. Don't forget the specs haven't been officially confirmed yet.

to be honest.. I completely dissapointed with SE. Very bad OS Support (SE Satio, X10). It looks like they like to dump their "old customer".

Anyone willing to buy this phone? I dont recommend buying this phone. If you have a lot (i mean LOT of money) and you want to try SE Premium phone go ahead.
