Come on people, we know how SE works. They never give a total complete phone with all-power or all the features we want in a phone. The closest one to be a complete phone was Satio but now is an obsolete piece (of shi...), and the most terrible thing that marks its dead: Symbian. What a mess.
Anyway, Im a kinda SE fanboy, even if they work on an arbitrary way; the reason why im still with SE: the good phone models. I'll get Xperia x10 in a few days, and I think If the Xperia x12 would come with a processor superior than 1GHz, I'd feel very disappointed. The thing that Xperia X12 features a 800MHz processor is some kind of compensation so the Xperia x10 users don't feel frustration XD
And no, Im not rich to spend all the money to pay the surely high Xperia x12 price.

Not long ago SE phones were classy high tech devices. Now they can't catch up the competition. Reading some comments here, the only good thing, SE still has, is its loyal fan base

The 800MHz Qualcomm MSM 7230 processor isn't a bad processor by any means. The T-Mobile G2 (Desire Z basically) is packing the exact same things. The Benchmarks on it with 2.2 shatter the entire Galaxy S Line up. I know this first hand because I ran it on mine. It's less stress on the battery then the Snapdragons, and it's faster. It's not about the biggest numbers. My Quadrant Standard Benchmark for my stock G2 with Froyo 2.2 is 1523 which is higher then the Nexus One, EVO, Moto DroidX. Before people start bashing the prototype of a phone that isn't nearly ready yet really think about things for a second. To me yeah the X10 was just one big beautiful looking dissapointment. I think as long as they don't screw around with this phone and really pull out all the stops and fire keep the old X10 devlopers away from this phone, it'll be amazing phone. Then as usual everyone who was bashing it will turn around and love it.

[deleted post]Exactly. Besides, group and gingerbread do not need a 1ghz processor. Look at the desire hd, it only makes the battery life poor. 800 mhz + 1500 mah + x.led = extremely great batterylife without compromising speed. Just hope the ram is sufficient, I don't care about the mega pixel count but if it does in fact have the exemor sensor, WOW.

''the thing is still running
the Android 2.1 a.k.a. Eclair but
word is the Anzu will be powered
by Froyo by the time it hits the
stores (some time in the beginning
of 2011) and in late summer 2011 it
should get a Gingerbread update.'' cant you folks read this? They say that the phone previewed is eclair and it is not a production unit. It also says it'll release with froyo onboard. Then why this mess on eclair?

Why "Another disappointment from Sony Ericsson", are you people looking around what others are doing? There are few phones out there with a better processor but that's about it and the phone is not even being released...just a thought.
