Good to see so many iPhone and Android users jealously commenting in a Nokia topic.

It's Ok, guys. We understand the story of the fox and the grapes. You bought phones that don't make calls and have battery lives measured in hours not days. It's OK, people may laugh at you because of it but everyone makes mistakes I guess.

I think E7 is best looking qwerty phone available, but it's too heavy, poor screen res/screen size and that price is way too high, so not a phone for me...

xis, 24 Nov 2010i'll be getting this phone next year. I'm familiar with sym... moreCustomer support, as in releasing a phone with numerous bugs in their firmware? The iphone had a problem with the placement of it's antenna, but the N97 had a SHOCKING post release problem with a camera lens that was scratched by it's OWN COVER. The solution?

Release a "new" N97 called the mini. Shocking.

E7, like all other high end Nokias, will be a BETA phone for at least three months.

I don't get what Nokia is thinking with that skyhigh price tag. I don't doubt for a second this phone wont have that Nokia charm which I can't explain, but in terms of usability I'll stick with my galaxy S.

i'll be getting this phone next year. I'm familiar with symbian and nokia customer care and product support. Other companies have customers and products but lack 'care' and 'support'. I know that Nokia is not like Apple who accuse their loyal customers of not having a milligram of brain and the slightest idea of how to hold a mobile phone, nor Samsung who doesn't have the word 'support' in their korean dictionary.

you don't need to use android on every single new phone mate. If all of them will be running the same os there's gonna be no competition, therefore no race for a better off. The more different OS'es there'll be the more new things gonna be invented and added so we'll all benefit from that. See some Apple fans would say iOS is the best (which we all know it's not). Symbian as an alternative is very efficient and does not require that much resources + have most advanced multitasking. I know UI of symbian is far from perfect, but there are people out there who prefers functionality over friendly UI. That's exactly why Linux (in computer world) is surviving over Windows and Mac. Well you've got what i'm trying to say

SE x8 price was written by gsmarena too like this high about double higher than it was actually rumored and costs but thats their bias but this thing will probably have this price considering Nokia always overprices its products making them less worthy buy

Well, I'm glad I decided just to go with the Desire Z. If this is delayed to next year, it would probably be next spring before it becomes available here in Canada and I just did not want to wait that long. I wanted to compare the E7 with the Desire Z in a store before I bought a new phone, but the Desire Z just arrived earlier. Now the E7 is delayed even more. Both these phones were announced a day apart. The window is just closing quickly on Nokia. How many others other than me decided to get something else rather than wait for the E7 to arrive?

Nokia is like the dying Apple brand...
They still think they can put out any crap product, and expect their Nokia-fan followers to buy them.

Running their own OS, refusing to produce any Android phones... goodbye.
