Once bitten twice shy. I certainly would want nothing to do with this particular company after this fiasco.

Proof the S7 Edge is 2016's best Android smartphone (bar the Note 7).
I know some will disagree with me, whenever they will say it is the LG V20, the Z Force, the Pixel XL or any other one, but I think it is.

marlo, 13 Oct 2016Giving back the Note 7 to buy a new outdated Note5 is a jok... moreYou are a fool. They give back Note7 and get S7 Edge or Note5, plus refunds for the price gaps(between $125-$220), plus gifts coupon worth around $100. So, you want a full refunds and get nothing but $25 coupon or get another Samsung flagship? What other phone do you think carrier can provide in short amount of time with the stock they currently have and all those Note7 users crowding their store? Even S7 Edge stock had depleted. I doubt any other brand can restock as quickly as Samsung. Btw, there are no equivalent smartphone flagship out there the same as Note series category; a phablet with stylus. The only choice is older Note models.

Samsung paid mkbhd to suggest s7 edge as a close replacement for note 7 well it worked

Sounds like Samsung has to pay it's users to stay loyal. Good job Sammy.

Samsung has earned respect by stopping NOTE 7, i am sure they will bounce back even stronger, and i wish they do.

nkwama, 13 Oct 2016Am going to ask again this question, anyone please help me.... moreIt won't get any updates, if it does get an update it would be updates that cripple the phone so you can't use it (limiting the battery, maybe bricking it, maybe notifications pestering you to return it, etc.). I know you wanna keep it, but it's best to switch to either the note 5 or s7 edge while it is still being accommodated properly, rather than after.

Also, it may be illegal to sell it, and it would have zero resale value. Plus you would be liable for any damage if it catches fire.

I thought people will be opting for LG V20 or perhaps Pixel XL so this is good for Samsung. I know Crapple is hoping for more iTards to come given the fiasco so keep dreamin!
