Survey says 40% of current Samsung owners won’t buy Samsung again

I'm with people who say they'll never use Samsung again. I have a Galaxy Tab 3. Old model, yeah, but I'm the kind of person who likes to lovingly tweak old tech and keep it going far beyond its expected life span. I have several 12 year old laptops restored and humming nicely on LInux.

The Galaxy Tab 3 takes days to charge and boots up sluggishly. Have factory reset. Obviously the best thing would be to root it and install a Linux system so that it at least chugs along with basic functions (I hate all the bloatware that clutters up the Tab). I would like to do this because even if I got it working the Android system would be out of date and a security issue.

You can't root it. You can't. You have to bring up a certain option in developer's mode and this option is missing. They have gone out of their way to make this obselescent and unusable. It's a paperweight. Yet with a new battery and rooted, I strongly suspect it would still work.

So I'm done with Samsung.

    Unfortunately, Samsung products are made to last 2-3 years max. They appear to only care about profits instead of people and the planet. Hopefully, they will be held accountable and be more reputable in the future (but I doubt it).

      Samsung Galaxy S22 sucks, Samsung is a scam of a company, they put green line on your screen after a software update, don't buy samsung again. HOPE they go under.

            All of their products in my opinion suck, including but not limited to: phones, appliances, and TV's. They have customer service reps who provide no customer service. Avoid buying anything from this company.

              Samsung's quality and service is terrible, they make their appliances so the last just barely past warranty and then major components go out. Don't wast money on samsung

                Bought new Samsung 32A galaxy phone from Cricket 7/2021. Went through (5) of these phones in a 1 year period all having same issue. The issue was that the display would go out (could see faint backlight when pressing power button) even though you could hear alerts, notifications, and calls incoming. All phones in perfect new cosmetic condition when sent in for repair, Begged Samsung Customer service after 3rd one to replace with reliable more robust model that they could send. Kept repairing same 32A Galaxy. Bar none and hands down the most pathetic, worst , incompetent Customer Service / technical Support on the planet in over 40+ years!!! JUST SAY NO TO SAMSUNG PRODUCTS, ALLEVIATE A HEADACHE AND FRUSTRATION, AND DO YOURSELF A FAVOR!

                  Once i bought a Galaxy S6 (when the model came out) and had the right to have a cashback of 50 euro. Nice, i filled out all the stuff online and was declined. Official store, official product, everything. Never got it ok, that is the moment i swore never to have a Samsung product again. I had tv of Samsung, a refrigerator, smartphone and some other stuff... And I am happy i made this decision. It was the start of a discovery of other brands with amazing products. The customer care is worth nothing, it let you circle around to nowhere and my trust was shattered. But now, everything I buy is never Samsung.

                        Bought Samsung S22 5G Exynos(only available in Europe).
                        While it is the cheapest one it still should have performed as flagship, but no - battery is terrible, sometimes not even half a day, antennas and signal is terrible, fingerprint reader is unreliable, cameras are blurry.
                        I had the phone send to the Samsung for repairs - they changed the antennas, the battery, the charging port, the cameras and it is still terrible.
                        This suggest there is much bigger problem with Samsung than just few faulty parts.

                          I swore by Samsung when I had my galaxy on5 but I dropped it and the speaker broke and I couldn't find anyone to repair it. I ended up buying a LG...OMG thank god they no longer make phones. I now have a Samsung Galaxy A03 and it sucks. I spend every minute on it trying to fix a million different glitches and I am sick of it. Samsung has gone downhill and they obviously do not care about integrity of their product.

                                  I got a Samsung S20 Ultra for $1400.00. The last payment was made through AT&T in December of 2022. (yay, it's paid off!) The phone will not take clear photos from 1x to about 5x zoom so if you want to take a portrait or group picture, stand 30 feet away and zoom to get it to focus. This issue happened after an update and every update since has not fixed it. The issue is well documented, but too few customers seem to be affected for Samsung to fix this. My most recent firmware update was two days ago 1/21/2023. The camera is still broken as it has been for about a year or so. There are many fixes resetting this or that, but they only fix the issue for a few hours or a day maybe. (often not at all) I used to really like Samsung...

                                      I always LIKED samsung, but now they can't toast bread my phone I have only had 3 months its been junk apps keep cutting out and it says it has 100% signal on my wifi, but it cuts out why. I think samsung should just quit making phones and ripping us off

                                        Totally agree, had nothing but issues with Samsung TVs and would never buy again.
                                        Customer service is awful as well. Samsung does not stand behind its crap products... Buyer be wear....
