Survey says 40% of current Samsung owners won’t buy Samsung again

Interestingly, some are looking to the Google Pixel phones as a replacement.

It's just the story of life. It takes decades to build a reputation, then just one mess up, and you're back to square one.

Samsung should learn from this, which I believe they will.

The S7 is my first Samsung phone and I am still using it. The hardware is terrific but the software is terrible. Touchwiz is extreme uglification of Android.

I would never switch from Samsung to Apple, I'd rather stay in the android ecosystem, and 1 faulty messup is not enough to make me ditch samsung!!

Nothing to do with the battery problems of the Note 7 for me.

I want on screen buttons for better ergonomics, simple as that. Buttons below the screen are awkward for one handed use.

            If only other manufacturers would:
            - Make more 5-5.2" high end devices
            - Have good screen to body ratio and reasonable thickness (7-8mm)
            - Have a great screen

This is where samsung excels over most, Huawei is the closest for me but they have other draw backs like the weak GPU, screen and software.

It's a worthless survey considering the confounding biases present right now. A year or two down the line, you can bet that the Note 7 recall won't be any more than a trivial footnote in the face of the shiny new products available then. (Assuming consumers even remember it at all)

Oh please leave these guys alone. Am not a fanboy but I know they're working veryhard to comeup with cool S8

If samsung can do nothing for note 7 then they should flourish and focus more on note 5
