the pixie phony device looks terribly cheap, there are tons of chinese branless phones that look like this pixie gadget, no, no way I woud spend 700+ dollars in such cheap looking thing

i will still stay with Samsung. Things happen, Samsung was quick to take care of the situation. Samsung just needs to drop all the bad suppliers they have and not rush to release phones without proper testing. GM and Toyota had issues not long ago, has anyone forgotten? where people died because the car would not stop and the ignition issue with GM cars, that was much worse where people died. But guess what both car manufacturers are selling strong aren't they?
So Samsung will march on and people will still buy their phones, TV, home appliances etc. This is not the end of the Samsung Note, it will make a comeback albeit with a different name and I imagine it will be miles ahead of the competition. Not to mention now they should be kicking in gear some really futuristic tech to their next gen phones to wow customers back to the brand.

They will to buy Samsung products again.Just wait the S8.The consumers just are a few angry with the company. All wishes to have their Note 7 with they.This angry is compreensive.

Yes, Samsung messed up big time with the Note 7. But they are a big enough company to come back from this. In a way it's good as a wake up call for them. They will bounce back with their next device S8 and S8 Edge. Hopefully if rumours are true and they cancel the 'Note' series they make a suitable replacement.

Google pixel is def an ugly looking phone and on top no memory card slot. For me galaxy S7E is the phone to switch to as earlier i sold my s7e to buy note 7

still waiting for the Note 7. will not settle for the S7/S7 Edge.
so if Samsung really discontinue the Note then they will lose this customer, and the wife, and the in laws, and my brother and cousins. sorry but in my immediate family most will not settle for any other Samsung phone but the Note.
We Started with the first Note, tried other and keeps coming back to the Note series, skipped the Note5 and still waiting ..

I am not surprised by survay result. I was Samsung user and never came back to them. The article is specific to US regin and mostly high end devices. it's applicable in other countries too. Samsung mid range and low end devices are over priced for there configuration. Just justify high end devices they have not given basic sensors to phones. On5, On7 J5,J7 have almost identical specs and they all lack basic sensors and are over priced!

xvi, 14 Oct 2016Nothing to do with the battery problems of the Note 7 for m... moreon screen buttons take up space at bottom and on some apps they hide and you always have to swipe up or tap at bottom to bring them back up .. most annoying things. Hardware button means its always there.
Or some phones do provide both options, may be that can be an option as it would leave it up to user to choose !
