The Galaxy S5 is water proof and has a removable cover so it can be done. Being able to remove the battery on the Note 7 would have meant that people could have kept their favorite device by just replacing the defective batteries with good ones. But no, people like you are too important and high classed to do something simple like opening a smartphone and replacing a battery so you'd rather that all of us follow you down the same insane path of $800.00+ throw away phones.

Just no. If they really want to impress and come back with something to recover from....
They need to go all out then.
They need to take most of their separate lines and make one super phone like the Omnia/Galaxy started out as.
With the S and Note. First off no dual modiocre camera. Bring in one large good sensor like the 1/1.7inch 18mp rumored. Keep the dual pixel 100% sensor focus, bring on the rumored F1.4, go for little to no sharpening, strong dynamic range, try to eliminate blown out exposure as much as possible.
And come on.....it better not be a 5mp up front again. I like that the front gets the same huge aperture as the back but come one. Make it at least 8mp. Or use the magnificent 12mp dual photo diode ois camera with 1.4um of the S7s rear. Only up to F1.4 to match the back. And dont over process it.
Combine that with the galaxy zoom lense on the back for 10x or more optical zoom.
Bring on the projectore from the galaxy beam. But forget the old 15-20 lumens dlp projector. We have good led laser ones in the 50+ lumens now that will fit in a phone. Try to get it up to 720p and you really have yourself something to be impressed with.
Keep up the good work with squeezing larger batteries in.
And please bring on the Exynos. Better cpu, better battery, less gpu throttle, and better audio? Duh!
And for the love of god the Omnia HD in 2009 had some great speakers. What the hack happened?
If you cant fit stereo speakers into your silly design at least put in a much more powerfuk single one with decent range and sensitivity.

samsung shouldn't remove headphone jack. Bcz sometimes I charge my phone with powerbank and at the same time have to use Headphone for various reasons.

Define "best functionality." The fact that you cannot even say something specific proofs the point. People buy Samsung for the brand, status symbol.
Samsung fans is just like Apple fans, the same side of the coin. Majority of today's phone functionalities can be fulfilled easily by any cheap mid-range phone. The fact that Samsung can charge almost a thousand dollar for a phone means people are willing to pay for the brand.

a phone with non replaceable/removable battery is a disposable phone or throw away phone you know already the first thing to degrade in a phone is the battery why put non-removable battery, this just like a car with non removable tires, if it happen your tires come first to deteriorate or flat in not expected life of a car all you have to do is to bring the car to the manufacturer for replacement and before you do that you find a towing company to tow your car to where you get it. what a mess...

According to news reports on Oct. 20, the Korean tech giant is talking with LG Chem for possible partnership in a move to diversify its battery suppliers other than Samsung SDI and China’s ATL.

Whats the problem. Cannot find a fault. US cannot find a fault so advanced. This is bullshit man. No one can find fault. Samsung phone design is perfect thats the reason. Samsung would have killed Apple further if the note 7 hadn't caught fire. Billions in lost revenue to the Koreans. Google another American company whose pixel phone is great but would have not been given much applause had the note 7 been its running rival. How can you sue samsung if cannot identify the problem with the phone?
Saw articles on phones to replace your note 7 with. Why are IPS screens on this? Why are non waterproof phones on this? Why are 1080p phones on it? Why are phone without always on display on it? Why are phone without fast-charge on it? These people who come up with these are ridiculous. Only s7 edge should be on it and its a downgrade from the note 7 mainly because of the perfect screen of the note 7. The slopes are a bit extreme on the edge. Once you have had a note 7 it will feel like a downgrade. If there was not a note 7, the S7 edge is still king. Iphones great phone but IPS come on. Budget phones have IPS.
