19 October 2016
The added components will increase the revenue of parts suppliers that are missing out due to the Note7 cancellation.

Stondec100, 20 Oct 2016Firstly the Iris Scanner is not mediocre. As a Note 7 user,... moreiris scanner has many limitations like sometime it cannot scan effectively when with glasses or contact lenses.

The more practical way is voice recognition. Rumors suggest iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will have this feature.

Stupid things to tell peoples new cool specs of their next high-end smartphone while Samsung to last stocks of S7 Edge

Samsung phones are expensive, but they deliver the best functionality, especially the Note series. Most of us who go for Samsung do so not as a status symbol but because they deliver unmatched functionality. I'm not saying they're perfect, but in most ways that matter most they deliver the very best.

As a Note 7 user, I find it very useful especially for when you're on the couch or in bed and it works amazingly fast. The fingerprint scanner is also excellent, my only gripe with it is that you can only register 4 fingers (you could register more but that might impact the accuracy). There are innovations they could bring to the dual camera and I trust Samsung will do just that.

In future, there will be more cameras on the device, one is being the Marco lens for close up images.

They should improve the low-light performance even more and tweak the algorithm for less aggressive post processing.

Recycled iris scanners from note 7 lol..

Out of topic, but don't you guys find it funny that after the whole "Note 7 Explode" chapter is over, there are ZERO reports of a exploding Samsung phones? I find it hilarious.

When the Note 7 catches fire, suddenly there are numerous reports about other Samsung phone exploding. A Galaxy Core Prime explode, A S7 edge catches on fire, a Note 2 ignites flames. And there are even reports of a Samsung washing machine explode!

Now, after the Note 7 had been discontinued, those reports suddenly vanish in thin air. Almost non existance. This goes to shows that Samsung had became a victim of unnecessary media hype. But that's what I think. What about you guys?

And if Samsung were giving Note7 for 'vigorous testing of their new phone by adhering to the QA and validation', what difference it would make?? LOL
Right now they gave thousands of Note7 to every lab in US to find what is wrong with Note7, and they found NOTHING wrong. No one say what is wrong with Note7 for so long time.
So what was your point, again?
BTW no one ''exploded'' Note7 after the ban. No matter that over million are still in use.
                                Think, think, think....if you can.

so the same note7 components in a smaller body dimension..
i hope it won't be the same explosive bomb.

Anonymous, 19 Oct 2016If u want removable battery buy LG and shut up lol why are ... moreWhy are you hitting so hard at him for having an opinion going with the removable batteries? The advantages of the removable batteries are many. The reputed companies like samsung find ways to get rid of the vigorous testing of their new phones by not adhering to the QA and validation. Many chinese brands are better in battery performance. Oukitel K10000 is the first and has the highest battery capacity of 10000 Mah in a smartphone. No adverse cases of explosion or over heating has been reported. The phone is in the market since 2016 . Samsung is still with 3000 Mah batteries and they don't have a better battery management for their devices. If there were removable batteries, you could remove the batteries fast as the phone starts to heat up. Most explosions take place after over heating, causing the battery to expand. Many can't notice that since it is non removable batteries now a days. This can cause serious explosions and harm the users. So it is no rocket science. Going with removable batteries for smartphone should be one of the regulations that has to be proposed in my opinion. Don't take it hard. Secondly, Many smartphone makers don't want users to see what components they are using inside.Hence sealing them completely with non removable battery and case which makes them almost non repairable for the user. When the battery recycling performance goes down after a long usage, so does the performance of the phone's internal components due to the voltage drop issues. If you have a removable battery, You can replace with a new battery after you see a performance decrease. Your phone will be as good as new. Thanks if this gets your attention !
