AnonD-519182, 19 Oct 2016No one needs samsung these days. Most mobile phones today a... moreYou can get a new s7 in the UK for £430. And the Oneplus 3 costs £330. But the s7 has a better display, camera, software, battery life. and features. So firstly, the op3 is said to be the best bang for your buck and it isn't that much cheaper than the s7, while it is worse in many areas. So while the op3 is overall the better deal, it is silly to act like the s7 is a rip-off.

Unfortunately most people are braindead sheep. It's fanboyism. They accept/support the concept of non-removable battery.

Am I the only one who thinks that dual-camera design is just plain awful? Make the damn phone with ONE GOOD camera not TWO MEDIOCRE ones. Also, that Iris scanner is just useless. Improve your mediocre fingerprint sensor (learn from OP3) and that's about it.

64GB should be the base storage for me to consider the s8 since they took my Note 7 away

SO even regular will have 2(+1) cameras? Not going to be cheap... well as everything lately(pixels and such)

Samsung is failing in China, and it is facing tough competition in other emerging markets. Samsung succeeded by copying, and now they are faced with the better copiers, the Chinese, who can copy faster and cheaper.

What Samsung has, however, is brand power. They push their marketing like no tomorrow, especially in emerging markets. So yeah, there are better phones out there. But for some people that want a status symbol, and don't want an iPhone, they will go for a Samsung.
