AnonD-517906, 22 Oct 2016About many users put their phone inside a bar, that's indoo... moreno, not "bar", but "bag". just typo. my bad.
Still, the fanboy tried to defend Apple by giving ABSURD reasons, such as HOT temperature, kept in car, kept under cloths, and some more absurd reason.

My hypothesis is that It is not user's fault, it's the iphone7 battery that's defective.

I'm willing to bet that Apple & Samsung try to cut corner by using cheap battery with minimum safety protection to get their phone THIN. SLIM or THIN phone ALWAYS have its cons, and the big cons is that the protection that used in "thick" removable battery removed/made thinner.
(This is the reason why removable battery, no matter what capacity u have, always appear thick).
Just what can u expect for thin phone which still use last decade technology?

Like I said before, I often kept my phone in my bag when there is full of clothes or books and my phone NEVER explode for whatever reason. I also often left my phone in the car when shopping, and NEVER ONCE my phone melting/exploding.

AnonD-564674, 22 Oct 2016the most easy way to defend ur favorite brand... BLAME THE ... moreAbout many users put their phone inside a bar, that's indoor right? most likely those phones won't explode. Unless, that wasn't a bar you meant.

And about GO JEK drivers riding with their phone outdoor, the phone won't explode too, because it's on open air. winds can blow the phone from any angles keeping it cool.

So yeah no cases of explosion under that situations.

AnonD-564674, 22 Oct 2016the most easy way to defend ur favorite brand... BLAME THE ... moreThe answer is no. it's not the user's fault nor the company's fault. the company will probably replace the phone or not replace the phone, depending on what your reasons.

I'm here to defend Apple? wow, then i must be extremely ignorant about anything other than Apple.

My last reply was only MY PRESUMPTION on why the iPhone 7 exploded in the car. So i can't blame the user entirely. And yeah, my words may were too straightforward to the user making me sounded like i totally blame the user.

Also my bad i didn't reread the article that these kind of incident had occured more than two times on the iPhone 7.

Now what i hope here is that Apple needs to investigate and fix the problem here or else just stop selling the phone. Just like Samsung did with their latest flagship.

This is an apple media Pr hype to neutralise peoples perceptiins that apple hacked samsungs phones. They are simply airing the subject in a controlled environment where they can corrupt public opinion.check it out.. see if apple recall their phones..not a chance.
The most this will do is to make them look as though innocent, because its happened to them as well, and....how good they are at dealing with such an issue. Pure Pr bullsh, its just cost a few bucks to deal with the accusations, with paid media help, where is the same lewd overblown paragraphs contained in the samsung coverage, no, this is hillary type media control.

AnonD-564674, 22 Oct 2016oh, just STOP it, STOP giving absurd and lame excuse about ... moreAgain with the conspiracy theories! I have also had many phones, not just iPhones over the years & I have never had an issue with them.

The 7 & 7+ have the same dimensions as the 6/6+ 6s/6s+ (give or take a few millimetres) & the only thing that has change is they have put in a bigger battery.

I am not going to get into a full blown argument with you as you are the one that will not accept that these things can happen & nothing is perfect in this world, no matter if you get the cheapest or the most expensive.

since lithium-ion & lithium-polymer battery introduced in 2000 up till recently, there are NO CASE OF EXPLOSION because of battery. I have many phones from SE, Nokia, Huawei, Acer, Kyocera, IMO, Nexian, Mito, and i-mobile, and others which use both Li-ion & Li-po, and NOT ONE EVER EXPLODE or BURN my phone like Note7 & iBOMB 7 did.

Accept it, Samsung & Apple are TOO GREEDY. They use cheap battery with minimal safety added to cut the cost and to make it SLIMMER.
In short, this is SAMSUNG & APPLE's karma for fooling people to buy cheap & defective products at INSANE price!

Wonder what will Apple do when this fiasco gets blown up?
Asking their gov to cover it up by giving bullshit statements? Apple big-shot is known to have close relationship with the President, after all...
Or, will they be a gentleman like Samsung: admit their fault, apologize worldwide, recall their handset, even as far as giving options to their user to use another brand's device? MOST LIKELY NO

I believe Apple won't admit that their product have faulty somewhere, and choose to stay silent & cover up their mistakes by giving bullshit statements afterwards

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2016till ya house burns down.... its a sealed battery issue me ... moreI dont think it has anything to with the sealed battery I think it is to with the battery itself. I read an article & one of the writers of 9to5mac said this...

That there have been a number of iPhone fires over the years is in no way surprising. The overall failure rate of lithium batteries is around 1 in 10 million.

When you have a billion active iOS devices, you’d expect around 100 of them to catch fire, so a handful of isolated cases is not evidence of any issue specific to the iPhone.

...which I think is the correct. Nothing is perfect, every phone has its flaws & defects, one phone in a 1000 will have an issue, this is life & it is same for everything that we buy.

If my phone starts to get warm when charging on my bedside table then I will be worried, until that time, I think that my house & phone will be fine.

AnonD-564674, 22 Oct 2016Summer in Australia won't be as HOT as EVERYDAY in INDONESI... more I will defend it. I have a 7+ & I abuse the hell out of it (in usage terms, not actually physically abusing it) every day when I listen to music, game, watch videos, take 4K videos, upload to various sites, email & anything else that I want to do with my phone & it does not get to hot & it does not get hot whilst charging. Yes, I get the annoying whine from time to time but this is the same whine I heard when I had my 6+ so nothing to worry about there. Until I have any concern for MY iPhone 7+ I will not be concerned & this is the same stance I would of taken with the Note 7.

This in incident could of happened to any phone, not just an iPhone or a Note 7, ANY PHONE but as you are a Fandroid you will only focus on the fact that this has happened to your much hated iPhone.

Heck, in Indonesia, many use Android phone as GPS when riding bike, UNDER DIRECT SUNLIGHT, but still. no explosion.

The main problem is, ALL U Apple fanboys don't and can't accept that iphone7 is TIME-BOMB, similar to what u always make fun of Samsung's Note 7.
That's why u give absurd reasoning about "hot season", "left in car", or "buried under clothes".

Look, I often stuff my phone in my bag full of clothes, but NEVER EXPLODED.
I often left my phone on my car when shopping in supermarket, but NEVER EXPLODED
and there are many GRAB, GO-JEK, UBER bike driver in my country put their phones in bike as GPS under direct sunlight, but NEVER EXPLODED, except a lot more HOT than usual.

After all said and done, still care to defend ur CRAPPY iBOMB 7?

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2016Safe ,Secure get a BlackBerryGet BlackBerry? U mean, BlackBerry-flavored Android?
                                  Big LOL for u, dude...

                                  BlackBerry-flavored Android is a JOKE!
Before they, like Nokia did, said that Android is an OS full of security holes, and boasting about how 'HIGHLY-SECURE' their brand was, using their own OS.
Now, they are (including Nokia) planning to jump in the Android bandwagon, even after humiliating & belittling Android OS before.
                                  How shameless!

Now, after jumping in Android bandwagon, look at what they offer:
-) BlackBerry Priv: INSANELY-priced cheap Android device, comparable to what Xiaomi Mi 4c & 4s offers, at 1/4 price!

-) BlackBerry DTEK50: a re-brand of Alcatel Idol 4, a lower mid-range device by nature, but priced as higher mid-range device when re-branded as BlackBerry. As it was lower mid-range SD617-powered device, u can expect CRAPPY performance not worth the price tag!

-) BlackBerry DTEK60: a(nother) rebrand of TCL (Alcatel) 950, a high-end device that most likely available for China market only, since the international version will be marketed as BlackBerry with MUCH MORE PRICEY than the original.

So in short, if what u want is a Android-powered BlackBerry device, just buy Alcatel Idol / TCL 950 and then flash it with BlackBerry ROM! Problem solved: u get affordable Android phone as well as BlackBerry-flavored Android.

Say NO to BlackBerry rebranded devices!

At the end of the day from what we know this could happen to any phone & it still would of got flagged up by the media after the Note 7 fiasco.
