iOS 10 ruined my iPhone 5S camera & flashlight. Amongst the many bugs. Damn it

The fingerprint is quite a big issue on all Apple devices, but especially the 5S. I've seen my friends using 5S's give up on it completely, because it doesn't work at all anymore. They say "it's an old phone, it's normal" but I doubt it's just that, even my friends with new 6S's need to use their pass codes sometimes.
On my year and a half old S6 it works flawlessly still. I've actually forgotten my pass code, because the last time I needed to use it was the last time it turned off, 4-5 months ago.

ios 10 on my iPhone 5s has been cool but for two reasons.. the first being that my iPhone 5s lags a few seconds now compared to ios 9.3.5...then secondly, immediately my finger print stopped working. at a point I even had to downgrade back to ios 9.3.5 and upgraded again. still same issue.. don't know if there is a fix for that or I wil have to wait till the next update. but above all, ios 10 is smooth...

derin, 28 Oct 2016yes because only 10 models out there ios 10 compatibility. ... moreYou spread misinformation. iOS 10 has actually added a lot of new features on my iPhone 5s. Moreover, it performs smoothly and fast. In fact the iPhone 5s is performing so well that I would recommend it to anyone who would like to get an iPhone without spending as much as the latest iPhones.

You are saying device older than iphone 5 is 'not in use'? The older device is still in use but not included in the chart. 23% ipad that not receiving ios10 is a lot of still "in use" devices. Missing drivers, essential components not working as expected such as S pen or proprietary camera processing or audio optimizarions? Not to mention unstable nature of many ROMs, bugs and major security flaws. Its all mess there and only foolish will spend hours to flashing ROM after ROM onto his device!

These ROMs can never ever match what is released officially for the hardware. Hence your argument is invalid!

I don't fancy Apple but it's a great example of a company that fulfills their customer wishes. Something that Microsoft has been lacking of since Windows 7.

Please stop trying to compare iOS to Android as far as devices running current OS versions.

If you want a comparison, you have to compare Apple mobile devices vs Google mobile devices. Currently, 100% of Google mobile devices are running Android N. This is because the only Google mobile devices are technically the Pixel and Pixel XL. If you want to include nexus devices, you'll have more fragmentation, etc. But you cannot compare Apple and over 60 manufactures of Android devices, because it doesn't work like that.

I agree that most people won't ever use custom ROMs, but it's not because it's hard- it's because people are lazy. It takes like 20 minutes to figure out how to do it and then 5 minutes to do it every time an update happens. Even an idiot should be able to figure it out.
