Samsung sucks with its laggy TouchWiz - worst Android UI in the world. iPhone is better than Samsung but iOS is very close OS that let you to change wallpaper and it's all. So don't speak without thinking.

T... moreAnd not only are they no-longer the only water proof phones about (even though if memory recalls the moto defy was the first), they don't guarantee their water resistance! I.E. if you screen stops working (a 2 of my devices have), their first question/statement is, if you have got it wet then this will cause the issue as they do not guarantee the water resistance. Great business proposal "lets make a phone and promote it to be water resistant, but not tell the users that we guarantee so our useless support team can use this against the general public "

Happened to both my Z2 and Z3 compact, updated to 6.0, ghost touching then completely dead screen; their resolution was that users were not installing correctly (even though hundreds of thousands complained)...greatest company out there!

In the past, Sony pushed out a plethora of devices to cover all segments, from E, M, C, to Z. They end up losing money.
Now they simply make everything into X series, tag on premium pricing, and target their own fanboys who are willing to buy anything with Sony on it. They end up making a profit now. It's a smart business decision.

They just need to differentiate given that they're underdogs compared to Samsung or Apple. Sadly, they're not doing that. The last interesting things they did were the 4K screen and the small fingerprint scanner. It's nice, but they abandoned for 4K for whatever reason, so that leaves us with not much.
1) They no longer are the only ones to offer waterproofing.
2) Their flagships still offer 1080p displays, not that it's not enough but Samsung and LG do better
3) They have some of the worst screen to body ratios, all for stereo speakers which are hardly a deciding factor.
4) They clearly not the only ones to offer HD audio.
5) They don't have the best camera software or production (and that's where they're the most disappointing).
6) I'm unaware of any software feature that makes them stand out.
7) They no longer have an amazing battery life.
8) Not so many people actually care about always having the fastest updates.
9) Motorola, Samsung or LG now also have very durable phones which resist to drops.
Now don't get me wrong, I actually like Sony a lot. And they're not the only ones not to be the best in a decisive category, but those companies sell cheaper than Samsung, Apple or LG to compensate.
On the other hand, Sony's flagship launch prices are usually $100 higher than LG's and some $50 higher than Samsung's.
It's not so much that their phone are overpriced on absolute value, but compared to the competition, yes they are.

because sony is perfect only in ... moreI don't bragging like a Samsung fans, they said Note 7 is the best, but when the user become victims, their ghostwriters keep bragging and deny the fiasco until the Note 7 have to recall twice and discontinued.
I know how good Sony are and the update potential, but they don't troll or bragging like a ghostwriters that I always found the Korea and Chinese company always do like this.
Btw, I have the best experience with my Xperia Z2, although it have some weak point, but consider the product quality and fulfill my demand, I will still support Sony.
I felt sad, I already turn my heart to Sony, while the Samsung still keep making crap phones to increase their profit (same time trolling bad to competitors) and that's the karma of Note 7 failure. This will keep my heart leave Samsung far far far.
