8.5H rated ceramic. The thing isn't about to break on you

    Nice, just can't help but wonder though the fragility of the sides for accidental drops. Be interesting to know more. Also with touch sensitive glass to the edge, would too many annoying accidental touches happen that takes you off the screen your on. Not wanting to buy but nice to see a small departure from the same old same old slabs.

              This nothing like the Sharp Aquos or any other phone out there...now we shall wait and see if apple, samsung, lg and the others step up to the plate. Well done Xiaomi, well done.

Removing jack was a mistake, they know this now, looking at the market shares going down (and has been since Steve Jobs departure). Face it. Apple becomes more and more irrelevant year by year. People want more, Apple gives them less.

                          [deleted post]It will hopefully be a ground breaking phone and is excellent for sure on the face of it thus far. However, we don't actually know how many were actually sold. X were sold in 10 seconds is meaningless if we don't know what the number X is.

                                        Yes, this is a stunning phone!

                                        this is what people want (tiny or no bezels), not some curved screens that actually decrease usable display surface, and add glares.
