And the app store has no apps because there is no market for it, so obviously there isn't an incentive for devs to develop. Because if there was an incentive, then they would do so and there would be loads of apps. So obviously, your argument has no basis.
Not sure why you say bs like them being arrogant. They are self-interested, looking for profit. There is nothing to gain from windows and it isn't worth the effort. If it was, they would do it. If you were right about it being easy to port (but you're not), then that would just mean that developing for windows is so poor in terms of returns it still isn't worth it. That's why they don't. That's why apps like twitter and Facebook aren't updated, it isn't worth the effort.

A good made app, it is seen from 3000 miles away, and will spread. A good made app in a android platform is nothing special without tones of adds and other type of costly marketing. So, my opinion is that your opinion is not valid. So, again, what you say is not true. An app can be portred in a matter of minutes. So don't tell me this "developers are not interested cause, bla bla bla". They are arrogant, and with a shitty attitude. Not all of them, but quite a few. Not to talk about snapchat a**hole that eve cut the right of third party developers to make snapchat apps for windows.

Concept or not I am definitely not keen on it, despite the fact that the Lumia phones are somewhat an ok experience, it's not gonna buy me over to use their phone again. The App Store is just not that great enough for me to switch from the other two major platforms again.

What it is clearly focusing on is the users who need that power and unless we get quantum computing will never fit into a phone. So this is the gamers and the artists/creators. This is why the Surface studio came out. This is why most of the PC's coming out were focusing on gamers. Laptops/tablets/phones are really the only ones that still sell. In fact the hybrid devices are the only ones that are actually gaining market share and lowering the impact the falling PC decline has. "running full windows" is just a silly concept. People believe that windows is about the w32 programs that are available. These programs are part of the failing PC industry. Most big developers already have plans to move over to UWP as it will allow their programs to move with hardware innovations that go beyond a PC. Hardware innovation that may replace other hardware. It's why windows 10s goal is so huge and the work they have done is incredible. Of course MS isn't going to just remove w32 support. There's a lot of migration time required. Adobe is already confirmed to be moving things over to UWP. These guys spent years on perfecting the code on their programs. It's going to take them time.
I would say 5 years and w32 api will be dead and people who complained that the phone should be able to run full windows programs will see why MS never did it. Why invest in something that the market trend shows is going to become extinct eventually?
MS just has to keep working on creating new hardware form factors that take advantage of the new apis. Surface studio and the dial support both right now but I believe it's really aimed at UWP apps. Dell is going to be releasing something neat at CES that also will work better with modern applications.
Right now phones are sort of stagnating. Apple is the only one who is able to squeeze crazy performance out of their chips. They are approaching core M level performance with the a10 fusion. Qualcomm is always behind. It's like the AMD of the PC world. MS could get into designing chips which they already have been doing with things like hololens and server farms. Ones that can be more adaptive to different form factors and combined with windows 10 allow for better experiences.
A lot will change in the upcoming years. Ms doesn't care about breaking into a market that is stagnating. They care about creating a new market that will grow.

I see tremendous opportunity of convergence for professionals who are not into hard-core. With Cloud Infrastructure Ready Office Products and Mobile Phone with Desktop Processing Capabilities, future going to remove our backpacks! Even Hard-Core Professionals just need Processing Power and RAM if that can be packaged in a mobile device (that can be used as a security processes as well) that can be taken up with you anywhere and can work with any display device then most of us may not carry big laptops in the future.

But then they were either dropped or just don't get updates anymore, because the user base isn't big enough for developers to care. If this is how it is for even the most popular apps that have hundreds of millions of users, then how can you expect smaller developers to have the resources to port apps? The only way Windows can succeed is by having good hardware (they got that), undercut the main flagships with pricing similar to Huawei (they sort of do, not quite), and make it incredibly easy for developers to port apps from either android or iOS (they said they were working on this ages ago, still nothing).
The only thing going for Microsoft is that smartphones are becoming real PCs, which means they are approaching Microsoft's territory. But I don't think anybody expects them to do anything special, it it goes well they could take a small chunk of the market, but if not then it'll be the same as now.
