[deleted post]u r rite nokia is good in dealing with costumers for their mobile phones but all the efforts they are making is to maintain or reshape their sinking OS i.e symbian. only nokia is supporting symbian. all others maufacturers moved to android, mw7 which provide a big platform for app development which is the main thing to keep a OS dead or alive.
i have posted below that intel inside is coming to this mobile war with their intel mooresatown (atom) processors for android. intel is investing in android. it means android got something.
i think nokia should have to do something with meego OS instead of symbian which can be the OS of future and can provide good app development.

fps2d is a useless comparison. the Galaxy S series are locked at 56fps max. Show some Nenamark!

this phone is still not available, so the galaxy still has the crown as the fastest handset (CPU-wise) which also does nothing.
we don't need faster CPU or more cores/ram in a smartphone (this goes for desktop PCs which benefit most)
in a smartphone we need battery efficiency, solid OS, less problems, better 'signal' quality (hint for crappers), dust/water/everything resistant and ability to record calls/answer machine/smart in-calls logging like speech-to-text (conversation converted to readable text) speak-over-bluetooth (bluetooth call) all without using 3rd party software, THIS what makes a phone smarter in my opinion not more mhz/cores/ram, we need innovation.

There were rumours in September about Tegra dual core mobile phones. LG and S-E were mentioned as working on such mobile phones. So far LG confirmed, next I expect to be S-E who announces a dual core phone. Samsung and HTC might be left behind. I wonder how iPhone 5 would look like.

[deleted post]First off the Galaxy runs great. Just like any other phone ever in the world though there will always be bugs that are always being fixed. There is also that one or those few that get a certain phone that is just a hell of a lot pickier for some unknown reason. It is a blazing fast phone and until a faster cpu is released holds the benchmark for all released phones. And the graphics do show if you are playing a demanding game or watching a high quality movie. And if the benchmarks show what something is capable of then they do mean something.

As an avid Nexus One fan I gotta say Google failed miserably with the Nexus S.
The LG Optimus 2X is the phone to beat and hopefully the next one I own!

same thing again. dear u r using n8 or symbian so u r not able to see or afraid to realise that how open development is there in android and iOS. even intel inside is now going to invest in android phones, google for Moorestown processors these are intel atom processors they are preparing for android phones.. symbian is the past my dear. m not talking against it. you just check the list of all these menufactures at the left of this site to see that how many symbaian, android or meego phones are being developed or introduced in market. dont force me to say that symbian/n8 users are jealous to see each high end specification device coming with android os. i m not producing them. not the android lovers producing them. its the manufacturers who supporting OS and android provides a greater/open platform for app development as compared to symbian.

twice of RAM, graphic chip, camera and screen. Nokia sucks lol!! they call 680MHz phone high end?? if symbian is efficient for low speed processor, it will work better on 1 ghz r? indeed n8 lags even for scrolling menu. I returned mine and took iph4 lol!!
