I think u hav gone m... moredude Bada SDK really sucks, even Rovio dont want to port Angry Birds until the SDK is Ok, almost all good games came from Gameloft, Ubisoft Ass Creed is on Gameloft, EA has only 1 game NFS Shift the rest are not enjoyable and useless app

Not all people has that money to buy expensive luxury phone like iPhone 4. Having such a simple (Bada) os yet powerful (samsung wave) hardware, its a great combination for an affordable high-end phone! Its just as simple as that. Apps is not all. You can't put 500,000 apps in your phone right? Apps aren't necessary, they're just add ons.

People that buy bada phones are happy because they dont want to use new programs every month. They use only the games and programs that comes installed in their phones. But when they know that you can install thousand of apps whith iOS and Android they realise that bada is a shit. Im talking about Quality apps not poor JAVA apps. Happy new year !!

Nik, 21 Dec 2010@ adkane, it means that Symbian aint going nowhere by pridi... morenope. Symbian will get a makeover, yes, but in a totally different style. Google 'symbian^4 preview' to see what i mean.
Btw i dont really give two hoots to the ui. I have been a symbian user n i can navigate just fine with the new symbian^3 os. I prefer functionality than to looks.

Just wait, if Nokia plan to continue with Symbian, they'll too copy Android & iOS.

The fact that Bada is fluid, fast & easy to use. I don't give a damn if its been lifted from Android or iOS. All I want is a fast & stable OS. Symbian sucks in its "originality".

Samsung has not yet released the v1.2 for s8500 till date and thats really sad.. i am now keeping my fingers crossed hoping that they dont ditch us.. the very first customers of bada by not releasing v2 for wave....

You do know that a UI does not remotely represent the technical finesse under that fancy/ugly UI right?

i had a Samsung wave S8500 in Bada OS1.0 so after i read the news i ask if this version OS2.0 work in my Device Samsung wave S8500 and when ????
and i use this and i found a amazing phone and really and i interest to download \ install this version .....

It depends on individual interest that he or she chooses which os is suited for them....so shouting Ill about other os than ones is pointless....my phone will be never going to be better than yours if you like it a much Ilike mine....an symbian s60 user...so sorry all symbian fans we must admit that its not touch friendly though it has most features than other os.....and the quality of applications is not up to the par comparing to all others.....still it has positives which makes all symbian user stick to the same...now consider all other os out there...everything got some blind spots which they need to patch......the only grudge I have against nokia is they are killing themselves....you may tell the number of smartphones they sell.....but by the looks of it its going down.....they need to wake up....they are keeping those qualcomm speedy processors for meego....its sad..every nokia fans boasts about nokia producing phones for every one....but they are not fullfilling.the need of guys like me with speedy processors who gonna adjust with comparable less battery life.......by the time meego comes out all other os is getting more advanced...so it will be very tight to grab a big chunk in market share......and it took them more than two years for touch friendly s^3 since the launch of first touch nokia s...we are speaking about the biggest companyin mobile industry....this shows how much less efficient they are........and guys reminding again every one has negatives....but repeating those again and again is suicide.....
And who knows samsung start providing good after services to be first...then there is no stopping them......
