it's not even that great looking. i'll take a moto KRZR K1 instead, please. twice the battery life, class 12 edge instead of class 8 like this piece o'crap.

First of of let me clarify I'm not a Nokia fan.
But I know, that this phone is not about features. There are people with cash who would like to be in the "exclusive" category..its for them, coz not every normal person like you and me will buy this phone. To be honest this model has a great solid construction,but that it. I can still see same old Class 8 GPRS and EDGE..not sure if they have improved the notorious battery life of 8800 or they have addressed the burning Screen issue.
But even with all that, still there will be some "exclusive" people, who would love to have one. We are just not on the same wavelength with them.Cheers!

will the new 8800 SE bl-6x batery work at the old 8800 ???
i have problems with my batery life at the old 8800
i can barely talk @ 1 hour a day ..:((

Reading from the specs, the sirocco is no joke!Even it's predecessor the 8800 was quite porpular dispite it's lots of problems.

Sirocco, wow! A mobile phone connoisseur and 8800 owner, everyone wants to buy it off me and they might just get it if t-mobile can ever get anything right and get ahold of some of these and one for me! MDA Pro/XDA Exec all those pretend PC's aren't worth toffee please don't waste your time like I have!

The New L'Amour series colors remind me of these tiny barbie phones my little sister plays with, wtf is up with pink? Is the target audience 9-14 year old little girls?
I hope the other colors look cooler and more grown up...
8800SE Is a darn good looking phone, to bad it cost's ~1K. OK it's exclusive and all, but if you really want to show of, you should own a Vertu.

It's only repackaging old products to keep pace with the manufacturers from far east (Samsung) and also far west (Motorola)... Seems that they are all doing it nowadays!

If the Nokia 8801 is also upgraded to the Sirocco edition, the phone will be very expensive, to say the least.
