Anonymous, 14 Nov 2016It's just another useless gimmgick, like the curved screen ... morei partially agree with you. The pressure touch is not that important, although it give you the shortcut to app manager when you press and hold on an app icon. I ahve note 7 asia version N9300, don't know why some how it has pressure touch function! :) cool.

The edge screen, i find it very useful for me to use quick shortcuts for direct calls, quick access important apps, calendar, breaking news, night clock, battery level...etc.

i have the same wish that they should bring back the removable battery!, but, that will make the phone bulkier :( i personally like the galaxy note edge. i like thinner, and narrower phones!.with the s-pen and removable battery....this is a big challege for samsung to make suck a perfectly idealistic phone! i guess life is never be perfect!, you get these but you will lose others :)

They have to cramp more things into the phone now with a bigger battery, making it look good yet having a good feel and grip. They have found the formula and selling more phones. Unless they can do the same and still have removable battery, you probably won't get to see it.

I wish they bring it with a bigger battery, at least 4000 mAh.
There are lots of brands giving bigger batteries with the same size.

The Nokia E-series were metal and the majority of them had removable batteries and they didn't look like cheap crap. The Nokia E71 is a beautiful metal smartphone with a removable battery. I still believe manufactures can make lovely metal smartphones with removable batteries.

Just look at LG G5 and its failure modular design. Also LG v20 which looks like a cheap crap, i cant believe to say but even chinese phones looks better than this. Plasticy phones were more flexible and easy to make replacable battery... I would like some kind of aluminium design, and back cover removal with screws or something like that. But OP3 is just simple to replace battery, though, not as simple as you could swap any old smartphone battery but still good, no need screen heat and etc.

So, no. That's not yet possible at this stage.

I agree - pressure sensitive screen and curved screen and other sensors is useless features we shouldn't pay for.

Another "chic" feature that makes the phone die in 1 year or 9 months.

It's just another useless gimmgick, like the curved screen crap. Instead of these craps, they should make a variant of S8 with removable battery. Removable battery is much more important than these gimmicks.
