It's called iOS... its already set them apart from the competition, something which you cant say about any android company, they all sell more or less the same and winner is who can do it with cheapest price maintaining good quality. Currently it's huawei who's beating Samsung in many many countries and going to do that in future too and Samsung can't do anything g about it, because they cant offer anything which set them apart.
By the way Apple q1 is going to be big, record high according to Apple

Yeah profit are high...for now. But as sales decline, their profits will decline. To keep asking that great amounts of money for an iPhone, they have to differentiate from the others, offer at least 1 or 2 incredible and useful features that sets them apart from the competition.
It they can't, people will buy less. It's already happening. Just wait for the 1Q of 2017 and see.

And again bluetooth headsets stink compared to quality IEM's. Bluetooth audio technology is not there yet versus aux, sorry to break you the news.

You should ask why those phones aren't available worldwide.. they work different way, but they can't go worlwide with those prices. Big companies actually need to do money to run company, those small Chinese companies doesn't do money with phones.

From what we can read on the internet the main Smartphone players (Apple & Samsung) will release some pretty decent phones next year but I reckon other manufactures (HTC & LG) could throw some surprises in the mix as well.

Big android companies are in trouble, because they can't stand out anyway. And thats already happening, all htc/LG/sony are in huge trouble and Samsung is having same future too.
Dont affect that much to Apple because iPhone Is different than every android phones, but oh boy those invidual android companies are in huge trouble!

Today you have androids with construction quality close to the iphone and some better (watch xiaomi mi mix bend tests) for half the price.
Plus, the innovation on Apple is very residual...actually it's the chinese brands who are innovating...
Yes, budget androids are selling more too but the chinese phones between 400 and 500 are stealing market share from apple.
The only big advantage yet for Apple is the stability and updates of the iOS ecosystem but even that will fail in time, as more and more bugs and exploits are being discovered.
Hope apple turns this around, but not much hope.
