They handled it very professionally. Unlike Apple , I come across many I phone 6's with serious touch problems daily.

"iPhone 7 can sell well despite the lack of breakthroughs and improvements partially because Samsung, the biggest direct rival, has stopped the production of Galaxy Note 7 because of fire and explosion problems. Meanwhile, other Android-run models have not caught users’ attention.
If not buying iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, Vietnamese users won’t have other choices in the high-end market segment.
As there is no other serious rival which can bar its way, Apple is expected to continue seeing sales of iPhone 7 increasing sharply in the time to come."

i would like to point out that if it was the s7 edge/vanilla s7 that exploded, samsung would have lost a lot more support..even if the sample for the survey is small(statistically a small sample means less than 30..but i digress) the note catered to a niche population..its like the apple pencil..

Note7 owner, 21 Nov 2016Money (profits) talk!! The polls/surveys said Clinton was ... moreThat's what you think or might wish on them. That's likely NOT happening. Why? Because Samsung makes a ton of other products. Not just smartphones. Their portfolio or reputation isn't simply based on a lone phone like the Note7. People are now waiting for the Note8. This is no different do the -gate issues from iPhones. Americans stay loyal. You can't base an entire reputation based on a single product. Toyota was far worse which expanded multiple product lines and actually killed people. They made a comeback. Look it up.

Samsung has like what, 2500 phones? LOL! One phone exploded, yeah, that's a lot. But I have lost faith in their batteries nonetheless.

Money (profits) talk!! The polls/surveys said Clinton was going to win the election. Look what happened there.
B.S. Samsung won't be the same again. They are and will be for a while the butt of jokes.
