as long as the processor architecture remained the same, there was no reason why WinPhone would not support a new processor.

nokia is known for using innovative design but only outdated hardware.

Keep refusing to believe that one handed use is more important than a giant screen smh. Anything wider than 72 mm isnt good for one hand use.

                    Nokia ? Is..Nokia or only brand ? ;> 5,2 and 5,5 ? Why not 4,7-5,0 and 5,5 ? Maybe shatterproof like Moto X Froce ? Weight and "thicker" - dont care, dimensions smaller ~ 127-135mm, bigger 145-150mm.
And new Nokia phones will have 1/1.2" - 1/1.5" sensor size, ND filter, PureView technology, HDR, Carl Zeiss optics, OIS, Xenon flash ?!
Dolby Digital Plus audio enhancement, Dolby Headphone, Active noise cancellation with mic, 32-bit/192kHz audio, 24-bit/48kHz audio recording ?
Stereo FM radio, RDS; FM transmitter, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS ?
                    ClearBlack display, microSD, 3.5 mm audio jack, IR, removable battery 4,7-5,0 (3000mAh) 5,5 (3500+mAh) battery/ IP68 certified, free lifetime voice-guided navigation ?

She used a Sony Xperia Z... moreSony and Sharp has side bezel-free phones but many just won't bother, they chose to scream over common brand with having bezels... Then they scream for compact phones with power features when in fact these exist but again these group still looks at the common brands for an option...

No, I won't consider XiaoMi Mix as a bezel-less model as its basically a rebadged Sharp phone, no surprise it even uses the display panel with built-in earpiece from Sharp...

4.7" screen size is Apple's best selling phone. 5.2" and 5.5" are too big. It's ok for the third world were people cannot afford two devices. In the West, people use laptops/desktops etc. as well as a phone so simply don't need to compromise by carrying around a phone that is too big.

The phone looks like a rectangular brick just like Nokia last flagship the Nokia N9. They need to come up with a design that can compete with the ergonics of the Motorola Moto X 1st Generation and the 4.7" iPhone. Sadly, I don't that Nokia has the engineering staff with those abilities.

Nokia is like Abba. Thank you for the fond memories but goodbye. Please do try to make a comeback, but if you can't get the staff to produce top quality goods it's curtains!
