Some people keep emphasizing the number of apps aren't important, as most almighty brand phones have "built-in" all the necessary functions.
Again I'm NOT an iphone user but here are some examples:
- my wife just finished all the Angry Bird games, so she downloaded a new jewel game to play with. Does any almighty brand phone install ALL the games?
- I don't take much photo with my phone's cam often, though last night my wife wanted to use a photo editor and add some drawings on the photos we took. So I immediately downloaded an app to do the job. Does any almighty brand phone have ALL the available photo editor?
- Many businesses start to off apps for iphones, such as many shopping malls include guides, special offers/discounts, etc...while Singapore Airline offers a plug for iphone user to use the iphone as the remote control on its EUROPEAN AIRBUS aircrafts! Can any almighty brand phone have such "bulit-in" function?

it's not based on how many apps are available for you.
it's based as to what are the things your smartphone can do..
and last time i checked the N8 has a Lot more features and does a lot of others things than you iCr*p!

Anonymous, 31 Dec 2010my iph4 signal is very strong in uk! my friend told me to t... moretraffic maybe an issue, also consider the fact GSM was designed mostly for more cozy places...most parts of US are very wide and relatively being hard to put antenna almost everywhere.
Though I remember one amazing experience in Dubai, UAE. I was on a desert tour in the middle of nowhere (no antenna can be seen), but when i pulled out my GSM phone, I got full bars reception.

it's quite tiring to have every Nokia article be crashed by iFanatics blasting the device for either not having the same hardware as the iPhone or being a direct copy of the iPhone. When I read about Nokia product I DO NOT want to have to sift through Pro-iPhone propaganda. When I am interested in an iPhone I will goto an iPhone article. when I am interested in a nokia I goto a nokia article... and I get lambasted by a thundering heard of iSheep that are criticizing a product they will never own, and have no wisdom to share.
Decent sales total. Still a long way to go before they get to the same league as the n73 & n95.

It is easy to buy big megapixel sensor in lots but apple rather put budget on software engineers who earn more than 7000USD a month. Apple hire more engineer to perfect software u get it?? 14mp ccd sensor can be bought for 25USD nowadays.

iph has largest jailbroken unofficial apps community. can u access ur pc at home remotely fr n8?? can u play inifinity balde, fifa soccer, pes, sim3, sim3 ambition, avatar, ironman, spiderman, hero of sparta 1 and2, assassins, monkey island, crash, street fighter, medal of honour, call of duty, hot pursuit, ?? can u stream ur video to ur tv wirelessly>>?? can u control vlc player of computer by ur phone? do ur local supermarket like tesco has apps for symbian?? how many newspaper have apps for s^3??does cnet tv available on s^3? any book seller on s^3? how many radio station has apps for s^3?? want to fight more?? get off iph4 is king of smartphone

Iphone 2G and iphone 3G and 3GS who wanted to move on to new models not new users. Iphone is sweet to use but it does not have features that are taken for granted in Symbian. Eg. In all nokia phones even the low ends when u take a picture or video you can instantly send it to any other bluetooth enabled, all the iphones models can not do this, Also 1 important thing going on now with the iphone 4 it can't make 3G video calls but can do wifi cos Nokia owns 3G calls tech, so steve Jobs is tryibg to swerve paying royalties to Nokia. Basically iphone is a good looking OS tht can be conpared to a Nokia S40 models that means it looks sweet and easy but has no finctionality. Another thing most people jab about is the number of apps iphone has, now intrue terms symbian phone does not need apps to survive unless it want to play some fancy full games ot fart here and there everything comes inbuilt that is one reason people hate symbian cos it is fully loaded and complicated to find ur way around it for 1st time users , but true nokia symbian users in real terms would never use another phone either apple or android or blackberry and be satisfied
