      Unless Xiaomi has patented the bezel-less design they better move quickly to collect all the dollars they can while this is new before Samsung and Apple wake up and take over.

        I'm still waiting for a device as compact and practical as Xperia ZL. Other companies should take a note from that handset.
        Sad to see Sony not pushing for a bezel less device.

            If you lower the usable screen to 79% it's your fault (the user's) and yours alone...

              Total screen to phone is 92.21%
              How could measurement have been different?

              Cant wait till have get my phone in to do the my official text on the device.

                          Good article....

                          Mi MIX has a pixel pitch of 70.5um... so the precise dimensions of display would be 143.82mm * 76.14mm.

                          Going by the official Xiaomi specs (158.8mm*81.9mm), the actual screen-to-body ratio comes out to be 84.20%, which is quite close to your measurements.

                          And if you go by the usable screen area (as there will be on-screen navigation keys most of the time), the S-T-B ratio drops to 79.25%.

                          So clearly it's not the mind-blowing technology it is being touted. I am using Vibe Z2 Pro for 2 years and it has a S-T-B ratio of 77.84% (and has off-screen keys so all of the display is usable all the time). Plus it is slightly slimmer and considerably lighter.
