Samsung Galaxy Note7 exploding battery likely caused by extreme internal margins

05 December 2016
Samsung was too aggressive in its internal design margins, leaving no room for the phone's safe battery operation.

Samsung is stupid for listening to the majority of it's clients, who have no clue about technology but keep asking for slimmer phones.
I'm not a Sammy fan, but if they want me to be their client, they should make a 1-1.5 cm thick phone with a HUGE battery (that is done by experts).
I don't want a slim phone that screams "feed me" every 2 hours of intense usage.
Stop being a fashion whore and demand for quality!
Right now I'd rather have a 10 year old Nokia than a brand new exploding trash.
And this is why Sony is a LOT better than Sammy in therms of quality: they do the necessary research and testing before selling their product. Not to mention they have the best Android experience right after the Nexus - Pixel line.

So, it's because of battery space? It will have more space if physical home button is removed like Google did since 2011. That phone was Galaxy Nexus which is even manufactured by Samsung themself.
Listen, Samsung! You make Android phones. So, it's better to copycat Google than Apple.

I believe this is not the real root cause as pointed out by

Get it fixed and give me mine back in want it. You should or for your customers who are still loyal to you who went and degraded themselves to a edge 7 Galaxy for a Galaxy Edge 7 the opportunity in which to be able to retrieve a Note 7 for your next model up which will be a note phone.

S7 & S7 Edge have the same design flaws. I wouldn't go near any Galaxy phones for the time being.
